  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-2013-Harley-Touring-Road-King-OEM-Exhaust-Mufflers-65538-09-65846-10A-/251878260553 Should not as they came off a 2014 RK and the cats are no longer in the muffler on those they are suposedly in the cross pipe right before the mufflers. The link above is to a similar set that the vendor still has for sale.
  2. Ok the RK pipes came today and I was surprised that I could not see through them front to back...not even light coming through. They are brand new though with no scuffs or scratches at all. Cant wait to put them on now. Great buy for $40.
  3. I run 36 up front and 40 to 42 in back . I weigh 240.
  4. Probly told them he drove a HD:confused24:
  5. Wow old tread, but I too dropped the 404 due to poor handling and wear...moved to Commander IIs and handling is 100% better and they still look new after 6000miles.
  6. I have gone to the 130 in front and it was an improvement in handling not what is described by Gilligan. Does it have a lowering kit, is the rear shock good (no leak), are the front shocks equalized (air). I run the following pressures. Tires 36 front and 40 rear. For the shocks 3 front and 30 to 40 rear . How is the steering head bearing?
  7. Ya...A ]]|`%$-#>|>[`` BLIZZARD due here tomorrow........
  8. Count your blessings, we have a blizzard on the way for sunday....grrrrrrrr:bang head:
  9. And is bad to install one that you bought yourself?
  10. Looks good, where did you get them done and how long did it take?
  11. Just so you know even at that short lenght I only get wind on top of my helmet. My wife is not a tall person, so as a passenger she does not get wind as she is shorter than me even when sitting. She did notice less buffeting from the sides though.
  12. Yup, thats what I am running using Commander IIs and handling at slow speed was improved greatly with very little stability impact at higher speeds. Go for it...
  13. Yup, I had my numbers wrong, just measured and it is11inches from top of trim to top of shield. They usually measure from lower down so 12.5 would be right. The witdh measured from the inside is 27inches. Sorry about that:whistling:
  14. I got it from Yamaha through my dealer, it is a stock part for them. Was about 150cnd for it 2 years ago.
  15. I am on a 2nd gen and replaced the stock 17inch screen with a shorter 14inch as I could not stand to look through it. Now I am loooking over it. The new screen is also wider on each side. Suprisingly, the buffeting was also reduced. I run shorty helmet in the warm months and a full face in the colder months.
  16. After searching for the past 2 years for affordable VH Monster Oval I gave up and ordered a set of brand new RK takeoffs from the HarleyPicker. Also ordered a set of the wide clamps. So for about $100 in parts and another $100 in shipping (yes I live in the boonies) I hope that the sound of the RK pipes are an improvement. From the clips I heard on YouTube they should add a bit more rumble even if they do not match the deep rumble of the Monsters.
  17. You can get them from Cruisercustomizing.com, search for Custom World International Classic Heel Rest.
  18. Heel rests are available here http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/custom-world-inhttp://www.cruisercustomizing.com/custom-world-international-classic-heel-rest/part/CWI-05-176ternational-classic-heel-rest/part/CWI-05-176 Did quick search on ebay and this came up for deflectors Royal Star Venture Tour Deluxe Tinted Lower Wind Vents Deflectors | eBay
  19. I have these on mine and they work great: http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/images/image_23351_300.jpg Also use these instead of pegs, they hook up to the floor boards: http://www.westendmotorsports.com/images/CWI05-176.png
  20. Cool:cool10:
  21. I am about 20 min from Base Gagetown, so I know how he feels with the amount of snow we had this year. If you do come down on the scoot, give me a call and I could show you the area.
  22. I have noticed a similar issue with posts that I start or respond to. They will not show up when in the ''Whats new'' page, but I can usually find them again under the Forum sub tab called ''today's posts''.
  23. Yup on the back bottom of each pipe.
