    Sad situation I'm sorry to hear it. If my bank charged me $60 that would be the last thing they would do to me.

    Nice find thats a good looking truck and its always nice to have a haul vehicle when you ride a first gen.

    Blacking out chrome is a federal crime well it should be any way. You should seek professional help for that disorder. The bike can still be saved by adding lots of chrome accessory's.

    If you would have gotten one the right size it would not be so thin they get very thin when you stretch them to double there original size.

    I will probably never retire I need something to keep me out of trouble. I remember when my grandfather was about 90 my brother asked him what day it was and he said what the heck does it matter I don't think I want to be there.

    Don't feel too bad in the u.s our taxes are over 50% as well and everything is user pay unless you waded across the river them everything is free. The only real difference is we still have the right to own guns.

    Once the friction modifiers are embed into the clutch plates you will never get them all out. If your clutch is still usable just keep running it and it will get better as the additives wear out provided the friction modifiers are the cause of the problem. How bad is the slip?

    Sounds like an other good reason to upgrade.

    I would not recommend Metzler's to anybody after seeing how many of them have separated and caused crashes.

    My fan comes on at 220 and shuts off at 215 it takes quit a while after a stop even on a hot day before it gets that hot. When running in stop and go traffic on hot days it will run quit often.

    I would not recommend going to a harley wanna be I would recommend scraping that goldwing wanna be and pay cash for an RSV.:rotf:

    I have a short wide made by show chrome I bought from JC Whitney.

    I have an Iway 500c and it has been through hell and back and is still working fine. The main requirement for me was a large screen it is very visible in bright sun and easy to see. I have seen many with small screens but I don't want to stop and get out the magnifying glass to read it.

    I would scrap it the vultures around here will pay enough for those parts to buy a nice second gen. In reality it really is what you feel like doing and what kind of ability you have to do it. good luck with what ever you decide.

    Don't worry folks next week an other expert will inform us that this study is wrong and all is well. The following week the next expert will tell us that spinach is the root of all evil and should be eradicated from the planet. the next week the experts will find that if all humans stop eating drinking and breathing the earth can be saved. Take it with a grain of salt (ya I know its bad for you) because the experts are going to say what ever the check signer tells them too.

    Yes I would buy it again. I had the rear shock replaced under warranty other wise the only thing I have done is routine maintenance and customizations. I can't think of any other bike I would rather have. All bikes have there little quarks and the rsv is no exception but there is nothing in my book to compare.
