  15. The starter relay is near the battery box the positive battery cable goes to the starter relay. If the problem goes away when you unplug the starter button you have eliminated a shorted wire and determined the switch is causing the problem. You should be able to test the circuit by unplugging the switch and jumping the wire together to see if it cranks the engine. the starter button should make and break continuity when pushed and released.
  16. That really depends on what type equipment you have available. If you have a paint gun available polyurethane automotive paint will be the most durable and chip resistant. If you don't have a paint gun I would use a rattle can of duplicolor you can get at most auto parts stores. Use wet dry sand paper 400 grit or finner wet sand it add a little dish soap to the water. you won't need primer and you just need to take the shine off the surface rinse with clean water wipe with a tack rag and paint.

  20. Most of you know Don graciously hosts this site free of charge for all of us to use and enjoy. He pays all the bills from his own pocket and never asks for anything from the members here. I just sent a donation and I hope some of you can do the same and help Don with the expenses. There is a donation button at the top right of the page.
