Attention Ontario Drivers and the rest of you
Redneck replied to E-Fishin-C's topic in Watering Hole
The law in texas is you must move over if there is an other available lane. if there is not an available lane you must slow to 20 mph below the posted speed limit. The sad part is that there is a need for these laws , anybody with half a brain should know to give as much room as possible to any vehicle or person on the side of the road. -
I would tell dealer #1 I wanted to see the yamaha service bulletin for myself and see what it says. If they refuse ask dealer #2 if you find dealer #1 has not told you the truth file a complaint with yamaha. Once upon a time re torquing heads was common practice and will do no harm. You have 4 more years of warranty left in case it keeps leaking.

Thats very sad I'm sorry to hear it.

Resistance is not a good thing resistance actually causes a larger power draw. In the case of the lights with a wire that gets warm it takes power to make that wire hot so you are using the power to run the lights plus the power to heat the wire. The extra draw in that case is very small and makes little or no difference unless you are very close to max on you charging system. On the other hand a motor(such as a starter) with high resistance in the power wire can easily pull twice the amperage it would normally pull. There is really no such thing as overkill when it comes to wire size. The only draw backs to using heavier wire is weight and cost.
-
The 12 gauge is better because it will have lower resistance thus the wire won't get hot and more power will get to the lights making them brighter. the 14 gauge will do the job and you probably will never have a problem with it. When it comes to electricity a little more wire than you have to have is no problem but a little less than you need can be a disaster.

14 gauge will run them but 12 will be a better choice.

What it amounts to is its just to expensive to do business in the united states. When you combine the cost of labor with poor work ethics and high demands the constant frivolous lawsuits and extremely high taxes it just doesn't make sense for many company's to manufacture in the U.S.

I'm sure she won't want to take a ride on an old dilapidated antique I guess I better call and see if she wants to go for a ride on a real motorcycle.

I believe squidly has it I passed it on in colorado last year. I don't think it got passed on because of a long running ceremony and a looming thunder storm.

I asked her a while back about that and lets just say she was not very interested. She spent many hour working on it and then lost it and pretty well shot the idea of starting over in the head.

The cook book died a quick and painless death when her computer crashed. We had 3 computers crash in 2 days and none could be restored so all was lost.

You wore it out. That tire did not fail you just ran it way to long. You are a very lucky man if you had been checking it regularly you would have seen it was worn out long before this happened. Go buy a lottery ticket this is your lucky day.

High speed lead poisoning. Go discuss it with him at 3 a.m I have done that with good results. I never let any body get away with not paying it will lead others to do the same. I would hound him till he pays or gets a restraining order against you.
