Whats with all the name changes? Is the law closing in on our members or what. Is this a sign of the economic down turn where people are trying hide from bill collectors? If this keeps up I won't know who anybody is. Maybe I need to change my name to keep up with the jones's. Maybe I need to change mine from redneck to that damn redneck.

I was once just a lurker and now there are many who wish I was still just a lurker.

That happened long before the software upgrade.

Sorry I must have missed the previous posts but from what I am seeing here you are dealing with a dealer. If the dealer disassembled the bike and sent the parts to a contract painter you have no need to deal with the painter. I would simply tell the dealer to supply me with a loaner bike while they straighten out their situation. I would think if push comes to shove the dealer can be made to pay. Good luck

Thats only a 29 mile per hour average heck you could do that on a first gen well almost. You must be getting old and decrepit. That seat should be broken in by now. Glad you had a good ride and made it home safe and sore.

Out for a little leisure ride eh.

Maybe if you would have shaved your legs and worn shorter skirts you would have got it the first time. Good luck with the promotion. Can I borrow some money?

K & N, do they help?
Redneck replied to Kross Kountry's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
When I installed mine only because I wanted the chrome covers the fuel mileage didn't change and there was no noticeable change in performance. If you do some research you will find that they don't filter near as good as the paper filter. the k&n filters will reduce the life of your engine it may not be a significant amount but they do allow more dirt into the engine. -
I hope things get better with the family you guys have had way to much tragedy in your family. I'm glad to hear you still have a job and hey you are moving a little farther south.

One possible reason for selling some oil is that some refinery's are not capable of processing some of the heavy oil. I have heard that Japanese refinery's can process very heavy oils. The price of a barrel of oil you see is for light sweet crude ( sweet meaning the absence of h2s gas) h2s is a very deadly gas existing in some oil.

I believe that to be a true statement.

If my guess is correct you just as well go to sleep in your casket cause no one will ever wake you up.
