after walking around tombstone half the day I took a ride to bisbee via sierra vista the scenery and roads around bisbee are fantastic. Bisbee is an old copper mining town that is now a tourist town I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a scenic ride.

After a couple of years of nothing but work wolfie our youngest son and I are taking a vacation. We left Odessa tx yesterday and we are now in tombstone az. We made a stop in animas nm to go to what was my great grandmothers ranch which was homesteaded. The ranch is also where we put my fathers ashes. If any of you are interested I will post some pictures as we travel. we will be going from tombstone to the grand canyon then to vegas ,Yosemite national park ,yellowstone and where ever else strikes our interest. Any suggestions of your favorite places to visit and ride along our route would be great. First 2 pics are where we put dads ashes next 4 are of the ranch house area next one is leaving animas nm the mountains are in az last 2 are us at the geronimo surrender monument in apache az.

I thought when I read the title you had come to your senses and were going to say buy a second gen.

Good luck with the treatment you will be in our thoughts.

A first gen doesn't have enough power to need a rev limiter.

I don't believe the comments were negative he has an opinion and he stated it well. This site has been formed by members suggestions , don has always asked for input from the members and has bent over backwards to cater to our wants and desires. I personaly believe your comments are out of line.

I would inform him that he works for you and you expect him to do his job. I would probably tell him to let the scum bag loose and we will take care of him that would give a whole new meaning to meet and greet. You stick to your guns and hold his feet to the fire.

Car engine oil for the RSV ?
Redneck replied to FL-Venture-Rider's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Most automobile oil are not good for a bike with a wet clutch any oil labeled energy conserving is a definite no no. They contain friction modifiers and will cause clutch slippage. There are some oils that do not contain friction modifiers and should be fine for the scoot one would be rotella t 15-40. -
Get a longer wrench or use a cheater pipe to add leverage. Be careful not to round off the plug. If there is room you can tap on a wrench with a hammer to break it loose good luck.

Pretty much anything can and has towed a first gen.

Bill this is not the end this is just a major adjustment it will be a painful adjustment for many but most will survive and we will all come out stronger. America has been through many challenges and we have come out stronger and more prosperous every time and we will do it again.
