  2. I remember getting shot because of you good to see you back on.
  3. Yep Thats what makes all the steam it is also the reason some of the animals are able to survive the normal -20 temps. There is green grass in some areas all winter.
  4. more pics. Don is going to ban me for the bandwidth.

  6. This is my favorite national park I have been here twice before and I will be back again. If I could only go to one national park this would be it. This park is special to me because of the animals I like to see wildlife and there is no other place I have ever been that has the wildlife like yellowstone. There is something very exciting about riding a scooter through a heard of buffalo that I can't explain. we were going to stay for 3 days and wound up staying for 7 days wolfie still did not want to leave.
  7. Good luck I hope all goes well and you heal quick.
  8. Holly cow next thing you know someone will put one on a harley. Whats the world coming to? I'm glad you are advertising even if you do ride tupperware. Ok you can quit snarling now I'm just poking a little fun at you.
  9. Only because he hasn't found a sucker yet.
  10. At least its not a first gen:stirthepot: tupperware aint that bad.
  11. That my friend is a dead tree.
  12. my vacation will soon be over you should buy this set up and start your own vacation. You will have to fight wolfie for her jeep.
  13. We are traveling in the motorhome with a klr650 on the back and towing wolfie's jeep. we park the motorhome then use the scoot and jeep to explore the area.
  14. It will be warmer then and the pass will be open. Bring your walking shoes if you want to see the big trees.

  16. The park is in the sierra Nevada's in central california. The park is very densely forested so most of what you see from the roads are two lines of trees. There are some areas with views and they are some great views. the roads are some great riding. The reason I went to this park was to see the sequoia trees. That wood pecker tried to peck his way into the motor home for 3 days.
  17. Thats a bummer I hope you heal quick.
  18. You better re count there are at least 10 pieces of chrome not on that bike.
  19. Cars are dirt cheap right now 4k is to much for that car heck you can buy an erly 90s vett for that kind of money right now.
  20. We had a 91 lumina with a 3.1 wolfie drove it 200k we replaced the alt 3 times put 2 sets of spark plugs in it and changed the oil and filters. It was one of the best cars we have ever owned. the mileage was in the mid 20s to low 30s.[/size]S"]
  21. I will have to agree with you on that.
  22. I don't think the white material on the mountain walls is the water line I thought that as well then on closer inspection that white line is above the top of the dam. We stayed in meadview az for a couple of days its on the south shore of lake mead at the west end of the grand canyon. I rode down to the lake a couple of times and I would guess the lake is down about 12 feet which is a substantial amount given the size of the lake but they have a few gallons left to go. These pictured are about 40 miles up stream from the dam.
  23. All motor homes get searched. No rental trucks or comercial trucks are allowed on the dam after 9/11
  24. I was not offended by anything I saw there or the money I left behind I had a good time and after 2 days I was ready to leave and head for the mountains. If I was in the area I would go back but I would not make a special trip.
  25. I'm glad to hear some of my tax dollars are being used as they are intended to. I hope it works out well for you. I am ashamed of the way our government treats our veterans.
