Dan is a collector of problem vehicles. That car will look right at home parked among his first gen colection in the front yard with the hood up. Dan that is a cute little car if thats what you want go for it.

They are probably just getting a head start on the new value added tax the guberment wants. I went to autozone a few weeks ago to get some silver star head light bulbes. They wanted $54 I went to wally world and bought them for $37.

Here is a link to a video on how to field strip it. After you break it down clean everything oil it with gun oil or any lite oil and put it back together. B12 chem tool works very well on guns just remove the grips first. You really should learn to field strip the gun for regular cleaning.

This post is a step in the right direction my friend and I am glad to see it. I know owning a first gen is depressing but its not the end of the world.

A carb sync would be the first thing I would do. You probably don't have major carb problems or your fuel mileage would be down. You could check the spark plugs they should be dark brown and all look the same.

Quit slowing down. The first gens arn't going to be able to keep up no matter how much you slow down. One other thing never let a winger dude work on your baby.
