    The vests use evaporation to cool so no air flow means no evaporation. They also don't work well in high humidity.

    I have ridden through many small towns and drop down to 30 then accelerate back to 70 and never take my feet off the hwy pegs.As long as you don't accelerate hard it is fine.

    Don't waste your time with air filters and exhaust they wont help your power. the Dyna 3 k module will give you a little bump in power. You can change to a vmax rear gear and make it jump a little faster. You can load your gf and all the cargo you can pack in it and go over the tallest pass in the country as fast as you want you have to wind it up.

    I believe the previous posters got it you probably have a coil going away. See if your oil smells like gas and check the plugs.

    I agree if he needs to have the lights go off with the ignition switch the relay would be the way to do it and protect the factory wiring. If he doesn't need the lights to be controlled with the ignition switch the the toggle switch will take a quarter the time and be a quarter the cost and is a very simple more reliable system.
