wow I just ordered the avon tires and went with the MT90B16 which is a bet narrower from what I am reading here. I looked at a chart and it shows thats is a little over 1" narrower from stock. sure hope I did not make a mistake. They will be here on wed. guess I will find out going on a long ride in 2 weeks. I am a bet short 5' 8".

Yamaha does not include the Items you asked about but they do include a lot of money left in you wallet . I found that the venture saved me about $5000.00. you can buy a lot of headsets and bags for that. You can talk to dealer and get some extras if you pay sticker. But unlike HD you can do some talking and get some took off of sticker.

Well read everything that was said here, took the bike for a ride to get it hot came home changed the oil. I just keep looking at that tire and telling myself that thing will make it 3000 miles. then I stopped and thought, OK going on a 3000 mile ride the cost of gas, rooms , food and ticket to get into the ball parks I want to stop at. Why am I standing here looking at the cost of a tire saying it should make it? so there I went off to dealer to see if he could get me in next week he said yes tires are on the way, I will have two good spares and a lot of piece of mind. Avon Venoms Rear 150/90/HB 15 and front MT90HB 16 .Went with smaller tire on front hope I like it dealer had no problem put it on as a mater of fact he said I was making the right choice from what he has heard. :7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]:

Hay killer do you have the smaller tire on the front of your bike if so what is the size and hoe do you like it? Buy the way I have AAA so I don't have to walk. Heres the deal if I can not get a new tire buy the time its time to ride I Will be just headed to the spring and not ST Louis. going down today to the stealer and see if he can getter done before time to go. :confused24::fishin:

Well here we go again 7530 mile on the back tire still showing tread vacation coming in to weeks planing on about 3000 miles should I pay for the rush mount of a tire or go for it. Will the stock tire go 10500 miles or will I find myself on the side of the road saying XXXX I knew better then that. Or roadkill saying what the heck is wrong with you dummy.

just put the clear view on with vent is nice. Make sure and get the hight that is right I bought the med. and if I had to do over I would have went with the next size up. I am 5'8" tall. :7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]:

Well after reading everyone post. I said to myself, self get off your behind and get out there and try this again You are right start it on the bottom work up and it will go on. Thanks to all I am sure it will get easier as time goes. PS the cut down can holder painted black does not look to bad and is a tight fit. I cut it 1.500 inch tall. If someone is looking for a chip way that does work.

I bought a leather gas cap cover from Yamaha that in there catalog. it came in Fri. when I went to put it on it so small it took the owner to put it on and took him 5 min. he said it would stretch with time. I tried to take it off and put on myself today came off a no go putting back on. Does anyone out there have one of these and are they that hard to put on? :7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]:

RSV Seat Questions or Maybe Pants?

Has anyone who has a backrest seen any where on the seats where the bar comes up through them, that concern is the only reason I have not ordered yet. Please give feed back. I have a 2000 ride coming up in 3 weeks and would order one if it does not wear on the seats. -

Just got back from the dealer. Had a talk with Larry the owner nice guy. He said he was hopping for changes this year and would Know on the 9th of sept. I told him if the new ones come out with the changes like EFI ans sound system put my name down for one . He said he would make me a good deal on one and add he would like to buy BIG BLUE for his self he just loves the color. I have already cleared this with Teri no big tears she just loves me and wants me to be happy what a women. Know I cant wait for sept. for 2 reasons eureka springs on the 10 and we find out about the 09 venture. Hope the motel has the inter net. ride safe. that is good news I told my wife as soon as the new 09 come out I would be looking at buying one if it had all the changes I was looking for. I could see it in her eyes see just loved the idea of a new payment.
