Well went and picked the new road* today. I had one before i got the venture and I that it was a big boy. Well after the venture This thing felt like a toy for the first few miles. The FI has been a improvement over the 05 I had. After riding it for a while I remembered how good it handled around town. It is going to take some getting used to but I think I am going to like this bike. The one thing I did not like right off the bat is no Idle adjustment.Well I hope I can keep up with you all this year on the rides. Now it time to hit the corben seat site. Michael

Well rick you are right, went to the dealer the next day did the walk around until they would deal and right now they are fixen it up with all the goodies at 20% off. I picked out a free helmet (I alway make then through one in) and will pick it up sat. a nice silver 08 Road* so I will see you all at the 09 meet if you do not mind riding with a RoadEEEEEEE.

Will Rick has come and gone. As always got to meet two wonderful people. Big blue is headed for Canada as I type. We went to dinner and off they went. So here I set no bike a lot of room in the garage what to do, Let me think. I might just have to visit the dealer tomorrow I think I hear a road * calling me.

Bill you should only use k-1 fuel. It will burn cleaner and is a lot safer

Ok lets talk. My wife works at a bank. She is going to work tomorrow and ask what the best way to do this would be. The bike is free and clear on the title. How would you be getting it up to you? you can call me at 479-474-6561 and talk. My wife is thinking money transfer from bank to Bank. I would not need money down just your word you can contact anyone on this site that knows me and they will tell you I am on the up and up here. At the end of the day I am sure we both want to be careful here. We are talking about a lot of money.

get a black koze cup cooler cut it down to fit I measured from tank to top of gas cap if you cant find a black one I painted a blue one black looks good cost about $2. looks and works great -

Well I was setting here looking at the web site today and started thinking I have not seen Buddy on here in a long time. I said to my self, self why don't you call him and make sure all is OK. When I talked to him he said he has been working two jobs his and his bosses and cant get to the INTERNET right now. buddy said he has only been getting about 3 hours sleep a night. I think he could use a prayer from us to get him though this time at work. As we all know about Buddy he will give it his all. So for anyone that has been worried about him he is OK just tired.

I put the 130 on the front of my 07 after 250 miles I ordered a 150 and put back on.I thought it made the bike fill to lite on the interstate and I almost drooped the bike 2 times in the driveway I know a lot of people like the 130 I am just not one of them.

after having this vent I would not have a shield with out it.

took the 07 in today for service today and some warranty work on the boot that is between the cab and intake. They told me there was 2 recalls on my bike 1. head gaskets 2. plate under trunk. has anyone heard anything about these recalls.

how mush do you think they would charge to take that CD changer out to clear up bag space . that was a bad move putting that in. my dealer tired to sale me one when I bought my 07 and I said way would I do that?

I see where some venture rider are using a 30 amp relay when putting on passing lights. My question is where are they mounting this relay, And do they wire it to the low beam or always on? If adding another switch where did they mount it?

juggler did the LED tail light say how many milliamp it used and do you know how many watts the original light was?

squidley put ours in the mail today via money order. From looking at the post today we are starting to roll now. Come on Venture riders let break out those big hearts and do this thing, let show what we are made of. We can dooooooo it.
