  1. Is that what they call it when they let you out of a state facility "RETIREMENT" ? :witch_brew:
  2. I use a .750 A charger/tender and it will charge then maintain the charge.
  3. I don't drink and drive!!!!!
  4. I agree with GeorgeS and puc. The pinholes will change the dynamics of the slide. the main hole is engineered to allow the slides to operate at there optimum ability. Any additional holes offset this and the result is the slides can no longer work in unison. The ones with pinholes will never be in sync with the ones that do not have pinholes.
  5. I get CHIPMUNKS in mine if it sits!!!!!
  6. Well hang in there and work through it. at least your not stuck in a bed!!! And I'm not good with PT. I have a bad habit of NOT doing it!! I will go for the first few times and if they start telling me to do stuff that makes no sense to me it's done I don't go back again!!! I have always found that using the afflicted body part normally Works out fine for me. OH, don't take any advice from me!!!!!!!!!
  7. Apparently this issue can be addressed by adding resistors to the hookup wires. I have no idea what size is required.
  8. Actually puc that does work. I have Honda COP's on my bike and in one of the threads here on the forum one of the members did exactly as you said. They installed the COP's and left the old coils in place. They work great with the replacement TCI's!!! All you do is wire them in and away you go!!
  9. Tear off the plastic then pull out the coils, PIA!!! Buy Honda COP's, install, then no more coil problems!!!!
  10. OK do any of you guys who have been tearing apart parts bikes have a spare frame that the trunk mounts on? The PO hacked up the one from my 86 and it is rustier then S&*t!!!
  11. You know Skid that's what I would be doing if it weren't for the fact that the better half has to look after her mother. The better half keeps saying I can go on these trips if I want, but I just can't justify leaving her behind while I take off and have a good time!!!
  12. OK just wondering how the retired among us start their day. So I'll go first. I'm up any time between 6am and 7am. Have to take the dog out!!! Now the odd time I'll get up at 8am but I have been know to sleep in later if I've had an exceptionally late night. But on such occasions the dog lets me know when I have slept long enough. I get up turn on the coffee, take the dog out, then come in and make my coffee, hit the couch, turn on the morning news/weather. Check email then check in on venturerider and the XJbikes site and go through the Ebay listings. Then open up the garage and see what I need to do to the bikes. Then go back in and order needed parts. After that I do what ever is planned for the day!!! Which is negotiate the HONEY DO LIST!!
  13. HD probably has him on speed dial for such occasions!!
  14. Look at the bright side, this could be a chance to head for warmer climes and get away from the winter snow and cold winds!!!!!
  15. Catch her and put a saddle on her for the kids to ride?
