Rented a pickup and heading to Ottawa to pick up my Lathe/Mill, Emco V10-P. Going to hang out with my younger brother and his son. My nephew has Autism but he is quite the NASCAR fan!!! I'll be away until Thursday so if anyone wants to kidnap the wife and her mother PLEASE do so!!!!!

I changed out the one that was really bad, now it is dry. The other one isn't bad enough to justify taking the carbs apart to do. Unless someone knows how to do it with out tearing them apart.

OK since no one has any advice I changed out the one that leaks the mos and that is OK. Now the other one only leaks a little if it's on full choke so I'm not going to worry about it right now since I only need to use half choke to start the bike when I do use the choke.

OK I have two of the choke plungers leaking. Only leaks when you open and close the choke. Should worry about this or should I change them out? I have extras!

That's why your supposed to take a dog with you they ALWAYS know which way is the best way to go!!!

OK what can I use to replace the rear fender moulding on my 86 VR? Part # 1NL-21694-00-00 & 1NL-21695-00-00.

Geee..... I never have any problems crossing the border either way. when I go to the states where are you going how long are you staying and some times how much money do I have or am I bringing anything with me. when I come back how long have you been gone, have you anything to declare and do I have any alcohol?I find it all depends on who you get at the crossing. Women are easier to deal with when you go either way. Also it's easier and faster when the border is busy. They don't ask if you have been arrested it will show up if you have. And then it's usually for something more serious the a DUI that will keep you out. I think lenght of time since the offense may have something to do with it. I know a guy who has been arrested/convicted for both DUI and Fraud and crosses the boarder on a regular basses.

My trickle charger, 750 mA, has a light on it that turns from red, while charging, to to green when the battery is charged. And I use it on a regular basis to charge the battery from my truck. It will charge a low battery over night, and I have used it on a car battery that would not take a charge from my regular battery charger. And it took a charge. Now it won't do it every time but if you are lucky will work, I think it depends on how degraded the battery acid is.

OK I have purchased new desiccant since the price of it makes it really stupid for me to mess around with the old stuff.

There's no hint of oil coming from the rear shock. No oil in the line to the shock. There was a little oil in the line to the front forks but just a little. The greatest amount of oil was in the canister as if it had been oiled on purpose. Also the amount of desiccant seem to be very low for the size of the canister.

I'm worried about the oil that it's covered in.

I need a replacement for the desiccant I do not think the stuff that is in mine was the right stuff. But then what do I know! It was really oily like it had been soaked in a light machine oil! And there was foam disintegrating from the two disc. See picture.

OK thanks for the advice. Now is there anyway oil from the front forks can leak back to the filter? I can push the front forks down and they bounce right back to where they where so I don't think there would be oil leaking back from there. It's almost like they media was soaked in oil and the oil is much lighter then fork oil.

I'll make some more if you like!! :icon_lurker::icon_lurker::icon_lurker::icon_lurker: Now for my two cents: I just did my DELINKED brakes and I did a lot of bleeding!!! Then Tied the brake leaver down!! Both of which resulted in getting rid of the air. I also turned in the screw on the leaver which gave the plunger in the master cylinder more travel. After I did all of this my front and rear brakes now work perfect. It took TWO days of patient work but that's the way it is when you have two brakes to do on the front.

I have removed the descant for the air pump from the bike and this what i have see picture. Everything is covered in a light oil feels like 4 in 1 oil. the form on the end disc is falling apart and mixed in with the beads. What should I do??
