That site looks like it's dead. Not much going on there.

The weather has been awesome. I had to go to the grocery store yesterday to get a Sunpass. I ended up riding for over an hour and a half. The weather is too nice to pass it up.

What about a kitchen sink? Just kidding. You should be set once you get everything installed. Good luck.

Nothing like some good R&R. That really sounds awesome.

Well, I was going to comment about the video, but I forgot what I was going to say.

That was really an awesome ride. I don't know my way around all of those really nice back roads. I even saw an eagle as we were going down one of those roads. We will have to do it again, maybe a longer ride next time.

The elk was just looking out for the environment. He ran the Harley off, because it was leaking oil all over the place.
-
That's a shame. There's no way it fell over on its own. I hope you find who did it.

It looks nice. I'm sure it will keep going up. Here is a link to the auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture-3-Wheel-Trike-Ready-to-Ride-No-Reserve-/131004964336?forcev4exp=true

If you want to learn about cb radios from the best site, go here. http://www.cbradioforum.com/ It is the best by far. I have a 100 watt amp in my truck. It gets out there pretty good. If I did it all over I would get a 400 watt amp. Any cb putting out more than 4 watts is against the law. Nobody enforces it. Checkout the site. I'm a member there.

Very nice boat Don. With that engine, it should move pretty good. 344 hours is just getting broken in. Good luck.

That post really wasn't directed at you. I didn't like being accused of going from forum to forum stirring the pot. That is the furthest from the truth.

I just bought my bike a few months ago. I looked at a whole bunch of Harleys. For what I wanted, with what I had to spend, I had to go with the Yamaha. If I had the money, I would have bought a Harley.

First of all, this is a Yamaha site. I'm only having fun. If someone is referring to my post on the Harley site. An F250 Harley addition would be the ultimate compliment to a Harley of any kind. I'm not going to go to a Harley site and make fun of Harleys. I will make fun of Harley's here on a Yamaha site. It's all good.

Wow, what a beauty. This thing is loaded. He bought it right off the showroom floor. It's loaded with options too. It has the Screamin Eagle package, Rigid Leather Locking Saddlebags, Quick Release Compact Windshield with polished braces, Signiture Series Passenger Pillion Seats with the embossed bar and shield logo, Heavy Breather Performance Air Cleaner Kit, Street Cannon Slip On Mufflers, and the whole inside of the boat is chromed out. He had the traditional steering wheel removed, and had the Mini-Ape Handlebars installed (I hope that works out for him). I looked at the accessories for this thing, and man are they expensive. I did a price comparison with Don's new boat and a fully loaded Yamaha Boat. You could get a boat twice the size as the Harley boat for the same price. Although, there is one thing I found that can save money with the Harley Boat. You don't need a GPS to find your way back to the dock. All you have to do is turn the boat around, and follow the oil slick back to shore. http://www.touringhogs.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=62&d=1379771651

I am thinking about buying some kind of a wireless tire pressure monitoring system. How many of you are using a tire pressure monitoring system? Which one are you using? How do you like it? Can you include a link to site that sells the one you have? Pros and cons, if any? Thanks.

Good luck with the new site. I just joined, and now there is oil leaking out of my hard drive.

6000 miles, isn't it about time to trade in a Harley at 6000 miles? Don't they start breaking down about then?

I would pay for your time plus a Steak Dinner in Omaha!

A Zerk Fitting is a grease fitting. Here is a picture. What part of Omaha are you from? I used to live near Willa Cather Elementary School. I lived on Spring Street. http://wescotrailers.net/image/cache/data/Hubs%20Bearings%20and%20Spindles/zerk%20fitting-500x500.jpg -
Are those passing lamps the Yamaha lamps with led bulbs, or are they an after market brand with the led bulbs already in them? I installed the Yamaha passing light kit on mine a couple of months ago. I might do the led lights if it's just a bulb swap. I think you did a good job.

I think your neighbor is a lier. I don't believe a salesman would tell anyone that that is a good bike for a beginner. I think your neighbor had his mind made up on what he wanted, and he went and got it. He is just telling you that the salesman told him it was a good first bike, because he is an idiot lier. He figures if he tells you that, you will believe him, because in his mind a salesman knows more than you do, because after all, he is a salesman and they know everything. Only time will tell how he does with it.

Keep my 03 RSV and Vulcan or trade in for 08 Goldwing?? HELP !!!
brd7666 replied to Barrycuda's topic in Watering Hole
They say that patience is a virtue. If you really want a Goldwing, take your time, and don't rush. The deal will come along. I would recommend selling both of your motorcycles for cash, and then using that cash to buy the Goldwing. I don't know if you need your motorcycle for your daily commute, but if you do, then that would make it tougher to do. From reading your posts, I get the feeling you really want a Goldwing. I really love the Goldwing. When I was looking for my motorcycle, I was mainly looking at Harleys. Then I started looking at the foreign bikes. The Goldwing was a little bit more than I wanted to spend. I found my 2009 RSV with just under 6000 miles, with over 2 and 1/2 years left on the warranty for $10,499. They also threw in two helmets with the chatterbox installed. I looked at bikes for several months before I bought mine. I feel like I got a good deal on mine, but I didn't buy the first thing that came along. A lot of times we get in a rush to buy something, because we really want it. But if you take your time, the deal will come along. Good luck. -
I bought one of these too, but I have not installed it yet either. Just got it. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/images/image_7475_300.jpg
