  1. Went out for a ride yesterday, thermometer said it is chilly outside, put the warm layers on, and all the riding gear, went for the ride only a couple to 3 hours, but the thermometer lied......it was cold, throw in some rain, bit of sleet, bit more rain. I was trying to get to learn our new area where we are moving to in a month....you know all the spots to stop for some food after a ride. All in all it was cold, but I was riding so it was still fun. Did I mention that it was the middle of May and it was cold.
  2. I also have a Midnight with lots of chrome like The Boss just picked up, IMHO the white walls just add to the look, as for cleaning them a sos pad does it quick and easy. Mike

  18. Thank you to both of you Vanriver and Buddy for the info. I am also wondering why the cylinder heads and that was a question I was going to ask about. For me the main reason to check this bike out is the Side Car and it is a model of side car I really like. My wing was a naked 1980 that I added a Vetter faring and bags and trunk a couple years later. Could be tough if we decide this is the one as I really love riding my 02 midnight, thanks again for the info. Mike
  19. Hi Gang, I know a number of us have ridden Gold Wings currently and also in the past, tomorrow morning I am going to look at a 1986 Goldwing with a Champion Sidecar, is there anything that I need to pay special attention to with the 86 wings, from the add the cylinder heads have been rebuilt and it has new timing belts. From the picture in the add it looks in real decent shape and the price is right..... Anyway any tips or info would be really appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Ok it is my brother that is looking for a new project, all of what our esteemed member from Michigan said is bang on and thank you again for your help with this Mr Puc......to tighten the parameters of the search a bit, my brother is looking for a HD from the 40's to 60's, his preference is an FL style.
