Hi Puc,
Belated Happy Birthday........as others have said far better then I can, I hope these challenges are soon beaten. Your attitude about life reminds me of my Dad, live it to the fullest and don't put off doing things until it is too late in life.
Mike
When I had my 86 Venture, I cut the windshield so I could see over it, I have tried the shorty helmets as well but my preference is my modular, Tammie has a 3/4 with a flip shield, on the RSV it came with a short windshield that I look over.
Brenner,
From the title I thought it was something much worse.......we all have brain farts....sadly as I get older more of them seem to arrive. From all the work and practice your getting on that Venture you may have a sideline business in painting scoots. Still love the colour.
All great advice above, remember too that as great a bike as the Ventures are they are big and heavy, get used to riding the venture on your own and then get used to and confident with an adult passenger.
I think it was about -6C when I was out for a ride, I was just happy to be back on 2 wheels again......so jealous of those of you that can ride all year round.
Didn't travel too far from the home front today Carl......kinda getting to know the scoot again, don't you worry we will be knockin on your door to see if you want to come out to play.
Got the bike out of storage today, went for a ride in the afternoon and then did my first after dinner coffee run of 2015. It was chilly out but it just didn't matter, even the coffee tasted better.
All is good, now hurry and get warmer around here.
That looks great Don, I have thought of getting the same thing done many times, never thought of taking it somewhere to get chromed. Thanks for sharing.
Mike.
