A link to Mr. Campbell's obit. Sad, the stupid virus got him. Rest in peace sir. https://www.tributearchive.com/obituaries/19868100/Kevin-M-Campbell/Granville/Illinois/Dysart---Cofoid-Funeral-Chapel

Ya, on my 83, I use standard Rotella. Some like the synthetic, me not so much in these older engines. I change it every 3000 miles, and never a bit of trouble. Be careful not to fill to the high end of the sight glass. I think I use 3.5 qt with a filter change, woks out well. (I use a Wix filter) Example of what I use https://www.walmart.com/ip/Shell-Rotella-T4-Triple-Protection-SAE-15W-40-Engine-Oil/181236405

Finally found a new Sig P365 locally, and range ammo: and have good ammo on order. Looking forward to trying it out.

Prayers for their full recovery. I have lost a few close neighbors and friends to this crap. Stay safe, treat everyone as they have it.

Prayers for his family. The man certainly helped me a couple times with his advise, surely will be missed.

Sorry for your lose. She's in better hands and suffers no more. Prayers for healing for all the family. -
That sucks. Better than last summers fires tho. Good luck getting it all put back together, if it gets too bad, at least you are a boater

You scare me . I've been looking at F6B as well. I've concluded that I would rather buy a full Wing and remove the trunk, and actually been emailing a company that is going to re-introduce a cover for the trunk spot. Being a taller guy (6'2"), I am sure I will need a custom seat that sits back and a bit higher. I sat on a wing last summer, I felt it was a bit tight on the knees. I do like the feet under, and water cooled, and plan to continue my pursuit. Some of the early f6bs are missing a couple features I think I want, namely cruise. But then again, I do like my throttle lock on my 83, lol.

Prayers sir, for her and your family. Damn, seven of ya, good life... -
I was handling a Sig P365 today along with a 43x. Kinda waffling. No chance to shoot, but the Sig felt nicer. He might be getting another Sig in later this week. The 43x are impossible to find unless you order online. I was at 5 different places this afternoon. From the internet, they both are considered excellent, both with pros / cons. Any feedback on a Sig p365 is welcomed.

Prayers for your wife and you and your family Randy. I hope the new DR gets it straightened out, whatever it is.

You are lucky. I've been looking for a 43 or 43x, nothing. I might break down and pay a premium online, simple because I want it. I've never gone the online route, any suggestions or cautions are welcomed.

LOL, wow, I never new or considered there were differences north of the border, East to West. The next 4 year stuff, certainly political. My opinion is, and we all have opinions, Biden bothers me not so much, but that nasty VP Harris, wow.. My bet is, by June, Biden will be declared unfit for Presidency with health concerns, she'll take over, the first Lady President with a very very very social agenda. The even more scary part is the influences that companies such as Facebook have in manipulating perceptions, add to that Google who will let you see what they choose to let you see, you get where I am going. The ultra wealthy and powerful will continue to brainwash their following. Another great documentary if you have access to Netflix, The Social Dilemma.

Puc, you didn't happen to be the winner of Carroll Shelby's 65 427 Cobra at Kissimmee were ya? 6 Mil was a hefty price tag, but I know you were adamant for the 427 🤑 https://www.foxnews.com/auto/carroll-shelbys-1965-shelby-427-cobra-6-million -
Well, we might be stockpiling a bit, just there are other forces and considerations as well. Our Govt does not seem too be overly concerned because they are flowing out of our country. A bit narrow minded when you consider who is getting them and who we are at odds with for our Drug war. It is a nasty cycle. My recommendation, if you have not gotten one, you should consider that a priority if you want one, the next administration would like to put more restrictions on ownership, and they will be very powerful the next four years.

Thanks for the update, glad you are on the mend. Follow Dr orders, and stay away from public places, I hear there is something going around 😷

Discussion of ammo, and guns, near impossible to find, I watched an awesome documentary on Nat Geo, Trafficked by Marianne van Zeller, this episode called 'Guns', and I was literally shocked. All this hoopla about drugs coming from Mexico into America, and the crazy thing, the enormous amount of guns and ammo smuggled from USA to Mexico, to go to the cartels. There is a major turf war going on in Mexico on who will run the country, and Guns sell for a serious premium to cartels, and it is a operation just the same as drugs coming to America, only catch, Mexico Borders do Very little searching heading south. Here we all think Americans are stock piling, wrong..... Civilian gun ownership in Mexico is basically illegal, so who owns them, cartels and thugs... If you have access to Nat Geo, highly recommend it. She actually has a few great documentaries in her series https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/shows/trafficked-with-mariana-van-zeller

You are absolutely correct on that one.

I like my Gen 1 and the center stand, no questions ever, but then again, I guess I'm fortunate that my ole 83 doesn't burn a drop. I would think that once you establish your oil level upright in the sight glass, then tilt it to the side on a 2x4 with handlebars straight forward as well, you would establish that reference mark as well in the sight glass. Going forward, one would always know where the oil should be on a 2x4. Maybe I'm missing something? 🤷♂️

DEBUNKING THE ANTI-AMERICAN FAKE NEWS AMMO SHORTAGE REPORTS!
SpencerPJ replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
That is a nice 43X. I'm waiting on Indiana's next large gun show at the fairgrounds, I hear that is the place to get best deals, or any deals in todays market. Indiana is pretty friendly carry and sell/trade laws, my wife and I have a lifetime carry permits. Indiana not as friendly as KY. -
Whatever you do, don't get out a powerwasher, puts water in places it shouldn't be.

DEBUNKING THE ANTI-AMERICAN FAKE NEWS AMMO SHORTAGE REPORTS!
SpencerPJ replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
I'd like to handle both actually, that seems darn near impossible. One reason for the P43, it would fit my wife better as well, and stow in her purse easier. But I do have larger hands, so 🤷♂️
