  1. I suggest talking to an independent agent, someone who has connections to many insurance companies. They will have the best recommendations. Then decide if you want to use that person, or go deal direct with the company or their agent for the area. Maybe one of these with good reviews https://www.google.com/search?ei=YbinW7arCaWkjwS-vaGwDw&q=independent+insurance+agents+raleigh+nc&oq=independent+incurance+Raleigh+NC&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0i8i13i30l3.2292.8665..11338...0.0..0.115.2048.17j5......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71j35i39j0i13j0i7i30j0i8i7i30j33i10.kVM-vJ0x0-s
  2. After one night, clicks 2-3 times. After 2+ nights, maybe 4-6 times. Sometimes I have to figit to get it to click any, key off and on. Could that be the relay? Where might the relay be?
  3. You could get some colored dye and a purple light at autozone. Little dye in the antifreeze, and the purple (black) light, dark garage, you'll see the problem. Can be a simple rock hit the radiator, super small pin hole, not enough to leak all the way to the ground.
  4. I saw they had a 'gold ceramic' pad. Anyone ever try those over the EBC that I tend to purchase yearly. My rotors have some grooves in them, I think they are hard on brake pads. Good site link
  5. You are correct indeed. My bags have XVZ12 on them. Thanks for clarifying
  6. Interesting indeed. Not that I ever called mine a Royale, so you think someone stuck that emblem on it? So here's my Vin, 1/83, JYA26H004DA000441, any help here? It certainly seems to be the original color, and some side pieces have stickers inside them stating 83 as well.
  7. I found a slow leak, turned out to be very thin small nail. Take old windex bottle, squirt some dishsoap in it (good squirt), add water, drench the wheel and valve core. Sit for an hour, re-squirt if needed, but keep it all wet. Even the smallest leak will bubble. If it's the rim seal, oh well, you know. Something else, fix as you see fit.
  8. Mine is an 83 Royale, and it's Maroon, definitely not Yellow
  9. Looks great, just in time for Fall Weather riding
  10. You don't have that installed yet. I figured you'd be complaining by now that you can't get the air out of the system. Good luck
  11. My 83 doesn't have a compressor, and yes it does have a radio on the left compartment. Very similar to mine. Looks like a good deal IMO.
  12. Congrats, and Prayers Up always Someone going to be spoiled.....
  13. I replaced mine on my 83, not a bad project all all. What gets frustrating is bleeding the air out of the system.
  14. I replaced the fuel filter, and has been good ever since. Totally start there, nothing to lose.
  15. Best wishes to mom to be, and all you:2133: Hope she delivers today, a 9/11 baby will have an extra special place in many hearts.
  16. X2, I've never had a problem with them either. Things happen, I'd email or call them.
  17. I'm pretty sure if you install Google Chrome on your computer (and that is my favorite internet browser anyway), that you can use their Google Docs, to open Word documents for free. Going and buying Microsoft Word isn't like it used to be. No more CD's, it's download and pay for subscriptions. Edit: Actually you have to convert the file first. HOWEVER, here is a link to download free Viewers for Word, Excel, and Powerpoint should you want https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001169.htm
  18. http://www.ebaystores.com/PinWall-Cycle-Parts-Inc I'd message the seller and ask if he had any, He is known for many parts, and most certainly does not list each one of them. I agree, 17 is high, I've been missing one for a couple years.
  19. Ask Pinwall on Ebay, they seem to have many Venture parts.
  20. Around here, in the city are all these bike lanes. We do ride bikes right
  21. I still bet you had to go change your underwear. Glad it's good, I still wouldn't make a habit of it
  22. And someone told me Maroon was fastest Beautiful bike you have, Hope you got a nice ride in.
  23. Cash is King. Good luck.
  24. My 83 has a similar OEM kit like this. http://www.2040-parts.com/1984-yamaha-venture-royale-tool-kit-i48835/
  25. If the torsion bar is where the spindle is, that holds the wheel on, and it's cracked or needed a weld back to the frame, I sure wouldn't drive 480 miles. Stop at a truck stop, they'll weld it quickly for you.
