  1. I know, click bait, but some fun slides to run through https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/motorcycles/the-top-15-motorcycles-for-halloween/ss-BBOD6JL?ocid=spartandhp#image=3

  3. You'll do good pulling a TT. Keep it under 26', under 7200#. There's more to the equation than weight specs. Really like your ride, keep us posted on how it drives on trips.
  4. Really nice new ride, your WIFE did a good job, lol. You'll like Toyo's, my wife and kids have Toyo cars, run forever with little maintenance. Been thinking up upgrading the YukonXL, as I pull a TT. I see your Tow rating, do you know what the payload capacity is (should be a yellow sticker in Drivers door). That plays in a lot with what kind of Tongue weight, gear, humans, etc you can fill it up with. Many of the newer Fords say they can pull a lot, but have very little carrying capacity, as far as dead weight you can drop behind the axles. Many on an RV forum complain about them (Ford ecoboost). The Tundra gets high marks, and little complaints.
  5. Beautiful. Yes the rain, been there. Many / most of the time we use campground facilities, swim suit and flip flops, away I go. Glad you had a good first trip. As for me, I winterized mine last week, and covered it yesterday :(
  6. Praying for his improved health and your whole family brother.
  7. 8. My bad season is Fall, Got our first freeze last night, I should be better soon. I too said enough with the meds, and try to limit useage.
  9. Great Post David, Thanks. Please do take pics of your adventures in the TT, be safe and enjoy.
  10. Yes, I am a Lucas fan as well. I've never used Seafoam as a winter gas stabilizer, I always use StaBil. All I know, is it sure perked up my Blower, or maybe it was the good cussing out I gave it.
  11. Like Puc, I'm Jealous. Seems my riding season is over, 60 degrees is not in the 14 day forecast. I had to winterize the Travel Trailer because it's going to drop to 30 deg. tonight Enjoy your sun and fun, hope the allergies get better, I can relate.
  12. Just wanted to throw a plug out there. I have an Echo leaf blower, maybe 10 years old, been getting harder to start over the years. I was getting ready to order a $25 replacement carb, no big deal. Yesterday, after pulling it 10 times, playing with the choke, cursing, etc, it started. I saw a can of Seafoam on my shelf, said what the heck, but a small amount in the blower tank, maybe 1 oz, and used it. Today, in the garage, saw my blower, went over, 2 primes, started first pull, just like the old days.
  13. I know a guy that pays $600 to ship a car from Tampa Fl, to Indianapolis, one way, every year (Snowbirds, has RV) Across country, that'll cost ya. You might check into railroad transportation.
  14. At least you're getting riding time while sorting this out. You sound like me, changing more than one variable. Good luck
  15. Yikes, Prayers up, he might get clobbered. Keep us posted, a couple hours ago that did not look good.
  16. That's exactly how my Yukon works. I like it, I never turn cruise off. Whenever i want it, press the button and works, with a green indicator that my cruise control is active.
  17. Whenever I have quirky issues that drives me nuts, I always disconnect the battery and let sit an hour, reconnect. Won't hurt anything, and you never know what quirky electrical think could possibly be going on. Maybe when gas gauge hits final bar it shorts and kills engine?? I doubt it is a venting issue, but will be interested in the result of running whole tank on reserve.
  18. Very nice. Be safe, slow speed turns are a challenge for sure, especially with a passenger. Avoid them as much as possible
  19. It will balance it's best lined up with valve stem. Not a requirement. If it was lined up before, and balanced, well, it won't be balanced any more.
  20. Lookin Good.
  21. He didn't even look both ways before crossing. I bet that guy on the motorcycle had to go home and change his undies.
  22. Congrats, I'm sure it is a bitter sweet.
  23. Make sure you are all caught up on updates, then power off the iPad, and back on. Always fixes any glitches I get like that.
  24. I said: 'I'd message', also known as 'I would', also known as 'If it were me, this is what I would do' I did not message the seller, but I did give you the link to do so
  25. Sounds like a fuel filter to me. They can act erratic like that. Pretty cheap and part of maintenance anyway.
