  1. I'm not a fan of old tires. Matter of fact, I won't ride on anything older than 8 years. They start getting hard, and lose grip. And riding on 2 wheels is not worth saving a few bucks on. I would have been disappointed if I bought a tire from Motorcycle Superstore that was 5 years old. I have my local store order them, they usually will match internet prices (then stick me on the install, lol)
  2. And I'm only at 31,000, still good. I try not to romp on it hitting second, but the rest of the gears are fair game
  3. My first thought is the alternator as well. I would suggest that you look for a Ford Escape Forum. Many times those guys are a wealth of more specific information on these gremlin of problems. Good luck!
  4. Pretty cool place to be
  5. You are the only one excited that you might get snow, better not let those TT lines freeze
  6. Ask the smartest man on the Planet, Google Reviews are great, if someone has 100 reviews and 90 of them are good, I'm good with that. I've had the same Dentist for 30 years, super great guy. A tad pricey, but I have to kids, 23 and 20 and neither has a single cavity.
  7. I've had a partial covering 2 missing lower teeth on one side, and one missing on the other for 15 years. Pain in the A**. After every time I eat, I have to take out and rinse the food off. So, last November I started the process of getting Implants. 3 of them. I am currently waiting for the posts to finish the healing process, jaw bones growing back around the implants. I had to have my jaw bones rebuilt first. Long story short, I'm 9k into this process, plan to spend 3k more on crowns. Back to your question, I would take partials every day over complete dentures. Don't pull any teeth that are still good just for dentures, you'll regret it. The thought of having food get under and behind the whole gumline is not what I hope to have. BUT, if there is ANY way to swing at least one side for implants, I would do it. As you age, and if you have to go to a place later down the road to help you with everyday life (ie assisted living) partials and dentures are misplaced and pitched daily. Then it's nothing but soft food. Had to deal with that with my dad.
  8. You are spot on Du-Rron
  9. Damn. That pisses me off. People just don't look, and / or don't give a Flip.... I'm glad you guys didn't get hurt worse, the bike can be repaired.
  10. Kinda disappointed that of all places, Texas. They must want a chance to look deeper into other issues as well, not published. We can debate all day about if it's smart to ride with or without a helmet. Bottom line, helmets save lives. So does eating well, exercising well, not smoking, not drinking, and the list goes on and on. Is this the direction America really is heading. What's next, Popo get to frisk each of us for guns and check for permits, at their will. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/motorcycles/texas-bill-would-close-helmet-law-loophole/ar-BBTHIg5?ocid=spartandhp
  11. Autozone rents those
  12. I do like the look. I've been debating a trade in from my 05 Yukon XL. I need a vehicle to tow my Travel Trailer. I don't have a great need for a truck and bed, I have a 5x10 utility trailer when I need to carry more than the Yukon XL will hold. I'd like to see this hatchback concept on a SUV like my Yukon XL. What I really would like is a Ford Expedition, F250 package, modified like this, with a Diesel. Then I'd be very interested.
  13. Congrats to you.
  14. Might as well do rear shocks why you are at it, you'll be happy you did. Don't feel bad, I had crazy stupid knocking sound coming from my 05 YukonXL last week, would have swore a rod. Turned out a alternator. Never heard that kind of sound from an alternator. Of course, the expensive 160 amp. At least I wasn't on the ground.
  15. And just to think, this thread started out 'Where can I get parts cheap' Glad I'm not the only one who does stuff like this
  16. Just concerned... Do you know how heavy 5 gallon buckets of dirt get after 10 trips? VERY HEAVY Think about 40 trips. Make 40 trips without a bucket of dirt.... Break that in 1/2, do you know how heavy and strong your shoulder muscles and calves will be after carrying 80 buckets of dirt out of a basement I know you have some friends coming, make sure you have lots of beer and pizza. I still wish you would look into hiring a labor worker, tell them $2 per trip. pay them $50 and still be thankful you saved all that money doing it yourself.
  17. Na, here in the States, the top level executives will sell off their stock, then announce decline, let stock plummet, let the American Gov't bail them out, buy stock at low end, make false claims to the American people, grow it, 5 years later, repeat. On a side note, I did hear or read the GM is considering taking over Tesla. Probably move them jobs south as well.
  18. Skid could start pulling people over, give them a Warning Ticket, and a business card. Tell them their court date has been substituted for the vote date.
  19. Great Ad, should have ended with Make Canada Great again!
  20. That was a good looking scoot too. What were you thinking. I'm looking forward to riding again as well, stupid cold last week.
  21. Just wondering, Do you need a Wall? :rotfl: Seriously, Good luck on your quest. I Googled it, seems to be a smaller community. Hope you are elected and keep / change for what the greater of the whole in the area want.
  22. Always could take a piece of plastic over to the grinder, make a mess, and sweep it up. I just used some of this JB plastic glue on a cracked / broken front car plastic bumper (gotta love my college girl). Anyways, the stuff is awesome. I had a nasty fix, holding like a charm. https://www.amazon.com/J-B-Weld-8237-PlasticWeld-Plastic/dp/B003S2E4UE/ref=asc_df_B003S2E4UE/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241975700326&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3934157096004971059&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016155&hvtargid=pla-526005054381&psc=1
  23. I usually enter my part number and let Google find the answer.
  24. Great idea:backinmyday: I changed to evening showers. Morning time saver AND, here in Indianapolis, Electric is by far the cheapest way to heat water, and I've even gotten used to electric heat pump heating. Lots of coal at our fingertips.
  25. You could also bump the thermostat up, hotter water uses less of the hot when mixing with cold. I have 3 girls and a 80 gal electric heater, and still have it cranked up.
