I have my box apart ,i had an itermittent.. miss..for i am also doing preventative misery..[PM] I HAVE 3 DIODES THAT SHOW A BLACK DOT ,none show the white foam i have seen here 1, what is the white plastic for under the board, it was glued to box and board, when i seperated it i have blue spots on plastic where it was glued to 3 different capacitors.. dont see damage to capacitors..??? 2. i had white plug ends on wires and the clips are broken off yet on the box there is no spot for clips to lock,course box is black i had glue on board bottom where all solder joints are ,,rise on on of the nuts that go to ???heat sink?? 3 sided boxes that have a nut on them ..glue is discolored in that area //maybe heat or just old///// on the plug in itself and in the hole is what appears to be vaseline .. ALLMOST FORGOT WHAT IS THE PLASTIC FOR?????? at 3,000 rpm i have a cylinder cutting in and out . RIGHTY NOW AFTER GETTING THOSE AGGRIVATING SCREWS OUT ,,SURE WERE IN A BAD SPOT I am taking rest of day for headache repair numbers on box are TID14-34 41R-11 IT IS A HITACHI IF ANY OF THAT MEANS ANYTHING SO DO I PEEL ALL THE GLUE OFF AND REGLUE ,,, i cant find my heatsink tool so i am hoping a alligator clip will do.. if housing aint busted , an oring is 4.00 at yamaha if it is just screw hole stretched put a washer on it me personally , i am a deisel mech. and i took a thin cat oring and took a triangle file and with plattic in my hand i filed to a tight fit the plastic put on oring and took it off ,for me it is now reusable and i dont need glue. just make sure oring fit tight on housing ,, for me it was free and some elbow grease ,,if you look on here you will fing a part number for bottom radiator hose at napa for 4,00 so for real 8,00 and some elbow grease yall have fun now u here

It is possible, brown mud is Barr's stop leak,,, If it is;,,,,,, in a few days the leak it stopped up.... will return,, PO may have put it in,,,,look for it,,,, :detective:Aluminun dont turn brown!!!!!!!

I definetly second CHECK ALL HOSES FOR SPONGEENESS,,,, :CHANGE ALL FLUIDS

I PUY A NEW FILTER ON MINE ,89, WHEN I SYNCHED THE carbs the other day i smelled gas for a while I put a white paper under it turned out the hose clamp that is the squeeze type wasnt all the way tight I could turn it with my finger thought I had done something to carbs I didnt wrapped electrical tape a little to tighten clamp and my smell is gone i park in the garage I DO LIKE THE TALC IDEA

CARB SYNCH IS AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS I CAN GET, ONLY CAUSE THE army TAUGHT ME NOTHING IS PERFECT as i finished synch, the tubing on number one ,, melted and in the line is dark color then turns to a light yellow up the line ,,????????????????????????????????????????????????????? dont know why as of right now it aint spitting ,or , anything , cant ride it till later tomorrow dog died .. darn,, i took off starter to fix dragging .. the plastic ring is melted ,, brushes are fine ,, i will fix it before everybody gets up in the morning,,, will post pics as soon as i figure out how , without getting a headache got to tend to dog

I got a 94 ford out of a field , had been sitting 4 months,, 2, 1/2 tanks of gas ,, gas was no good after 4 months , had too run 5 gallons of premium and 2 bottles of cleaner at the same time , fuel injected ,, ran terrible after 5 gallons of gas with cleaner it would finally idle I HAVE 2 HOLLEY 750 DOUBLE PUMPERS AND I HAVE TO REBUILD EVERY TIME I WANT TO USE THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE STAY AWAY FROM ETHANOL if you run it out of gas , I believe it will varnish quicker, due to air humidity,,change of temp the gas in alabama wont even evaporate sitting in a bucket if you do have to let it set SEAFOAM ,,AND FILL TANK OR IT WIIL RUST!!!!!!!! I CAN GUARENTEE RUSTY TANK AFTER 2 WEEKS

if it was cranking over, even with all that, it should of started, or tried to,,

my nearest bike scrapyard didnt have any i wanted to pay his price for i took an old radiator hose ,the old one from bottom of radiator matter of fact,,and cut it to fit in the hole ,then cut the top to fit the plug wire plastic ,the zip tied it tight keeps dirt out

i have a 1989 royale {venture}, went to yamaha dealer an only thing he can say is "dark grayish blue metalic" no paint code numbers when I bought it ,it had allready been laid down , so fairing is scratched pretty good .I have taken it off so many times I am contemplating mounting it with VELCRO.... here is my question ,,i know some about fiberglass, will a clear coat after i wet sand the ABS adhere , I found in summit racing , ROTH FLAKE ,, looks like the two colors of blue will match and i can keep origional paint scheme,, mixed with clear:lightbulb::lightbulb: IF I USE THE MONSTER FLAKE , I BELIEVE IT WILL HIDE SCRATCHES, AND LOOK GOOD KIND OF LIKE A VW DUNE BUGGY.. OR A BOAT

I bought all the stuff for the carb synch, i have 32 inches above the fluid line.. for clear tubing , without the motor running.. actually each tube is 20feet long total so i start it up and 3 and 4 suck the tranny fluid up 32 inches before i can cut it off,,THAT FAST...YES,, ALMOST TO MOTOR BEFORE I SHUT IT OFF 1 AND 2 ARE SLOWER,, RUN TRANNY FLUID DOWN THE TUBE three times ,, finally unhooked 3 an 4 so i could atleast do 1 an 2 ,,, little slower yet still sucked it all the way to the top as of right now i have tubeing hanging off the gutter of the house an i cant start the bike long enough to turn any screws bofore it sucks it down please tell me what i can do ?????? sure looks like i fixed vacuum leaks REAL GOOD,,,,,,,, IT IS AN 89 1300

so i went to store today and got stuff to make the synch, tool,, figure ill hang in the rafters when i am done if it is carb diaphrams , even though it was doing good when i tore it down ,,i am going to just going to have to fix it wonder if doing rebuild on all 4 will be cost effective , or just a piece at the time QUESTION;;; will a backfire blow a diaphram on this 1st gen,,, like a holley carb does power valves. on a racing motor????...used to keep spares of those is there anything i can make my own diaphrams out of????

took old gas where I had put in berrymans out , drained 3 carbs three times , drained tank , carbs soaked two days cause it rained new 93 gas , cranked right up tried to idle , turned up idle so it would stay chargeing,, no more runs thats it any thing below 3,000 and its backfireing, any gear any speed,, at 3,000 I have a cylinder cutting in and out ,it will cut in for 3 to 5 seconds and go back out,, only at 3,000 the other day before I fixed vacuum leaks when i run down the road at 4,5 6 and up wil would cut in for a minute or so ,,not any more,,, choke cable works like it is supppose to yet i cant tell it is doing anything , ran three tanks of gas yesterday in the forrest and some interstate, didnt clear up i definetly have a loss of power WHAT NOW i got a big service manual with it except all the trouble shooting chapter is torn out , i dont have it , drained oil after and filtered it through a pair of pantyhose to see if i have any wear after i did tranny NOT ONE METAL FLAKE, SPARKLE OR GLISTEN,, I BELIEVE IT GOT THAT
