Quick question just to make sure we are still on a level playing field Patch,,, ""All should be yes even tho I predicked you would say no to it."" is just a matter of your opinion, correct? Not sure of your point in this one Patch? All of info contained in the video you reference is obtained well above the R's you operate your bike at, most of the charts do not even begin until 7200 RPM, wayyy beyond your target R's. Perhaps a relook at the video that both Jeff and I posted would be to your advantage in determining the blueprint for your build and decision making thereof.

I am particularly fond of this little falling block 22lr.. Have always LOVED the "Sharps" (a real deal Quigly special) but could never bring myself to put up the cash for one. This little shooter would scratch that itch fairly.. Nahh, think I'll save my cash for more ammo Still wayyy cool: https://www.proxibid.com/Art-Antiques-Collectibles/J-Stevens-Crack-Shot-22-LR-Cal-Falling-Block-Single-Shot-Rifle/lotInformation/46427158 Had a whole basement full of these and sold em off so dont need to relive that journey: https://www.proxibid.com/Art-Antiques-Collectibles/Group-of-2-Vintage-Air-Rifles/lotInformation/46427242 And a pretty cool good ol double barrel 12.. https://www.proxibid.com/Art-Antiques-Collectibles/Meridan-Fire-Arms-Co-The-A-J-Aubrey-12GA-Break-Action-Shotgun/lotInformation/46427157 Thought I'd better stick these up for anyone interested. If nothing else,, lots of fun looking at shooters on a WIND WHIPPING WINTER DAY LIKE TODAY!! Enjoy!

Fast forward to 2:37 in this video and this will explain why I need what I am looking for:
-
That is exactly what I am talking about 40!!! I did some research and found the trays that will work with my 1911. Shown here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-BERRYS-PLASTIC-AMMO-BOX-SMOKE-COLOR-45-acp-40-cal-10mm-100-rd/261714005413? It is VERY important in my situation that when inverted (primer facing up) that the rounds extend past the edge of the tray as I will be sliding a loader in from the side to pick up the ammo. Do you know if the Franklins will expose the case ends like that above the edge of the tray,, speaking now of 308 Winchester/762 NATO? Thanks! Puc
-
Actually, IMHO, that would just be in kin to a simple continuity test and not necessarily applying OHM's law to layout a pathway/road map to the outcome I would planning. YEP,, having all kinds of fun here = GREAT THREAD IMHO!!
-
Good enough... Like using Ohm's Law when working thru a problem in Electricity/Electronics, I choose to use this stuff when planning a build to know what I am building to so for me,, it is very important. I definitely can see where folks like yourself or @Flyinfool can resist/second guess the math behind all this stuff though as my regard for such is more based on results I have achieved by following such theory's.. I guess, if you end up where you want to go without regard for such it's all good...
-
By the way = 223 DAY!!! AWESOME!! LOVE IT MY FRIEND!!:clap2:
-
I hear ya Bill,, and may very well end up doing such. I would far prefer having the lightness of simple, 100 round cases plastic cases all filled and ready to run my loader thru when out in the field BUT,, you DEFINITELY have a good plan their brother!! THANKS! Here is what I have coming for my 1911: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-BERRYS-PLASTIC-AMMO-BOX-SMOKE-COLOR-45-acp-40-cal-10mm-100-rd/261714005413?

A simple YES or NO still awaits on your behalf brother..

Thought I forgot didnt cha @VanRiver?? Don't know if you have named your Honda yet or not but after hours/days/weeks/months of mulling it over (bike naming is an art form and, as in all forms of Art,, good things take time - best excuse I could come up with Riv ) I think my pea brain has the suggestion I would like to make.. Dont know about you but one of the things in life that I stepped up to has been staying Red Cross CPR certified.. Way I figure it,, by doing so,, maybe someone else was doing it to and could someday save someones life.. I was always impressed with "Resusi Anny" of yesteryear and how she, as an inanimate object, taught me the delicate art of resusitation by allowing me to breathe life into her lifeless carcass... You and your relentless way of doing exactly that with abused, lifeless, left over bikes speaks somewhat of this art form to me.. As a result, I think you should name that gorgeous, back to life Honda = "ANNY" as a constant reminder of this fact.. Besides Riv,, AZZI and ANNY kind of go nicely together :301: Love ya brother! Puc

I sold all my loading stuff including the little things like ammo trays. I now buy a LOT of bulk ammo,, you guys know,, the kind of stuff that comes in bags instead of boxes.. In stepping up the game of shootin for fun and using speed loaders, it has come to my attention that I could really use trays that the ammo will sit neatly inline and facing PRIMER END UP, not the typical primer end down trays like I remember from days long gone by. Any of you lop eared varmints know of a decent tray brand that stores primer end up? I have searched EBay and Gunbroker and found Berryman's (?) to be looking like what I need but none of the pics I see actually show rounds facing down.. Any thoughts? Just grabbed a ProMag Drum Feed for my AR 308,, those trays are gonna become very important when Tip and the AR15 and I with the AR10 start trimming trees in the swamp this spring!! Cant let er out ratty tat tat me ya know!! Thank in advance ya'll! Puc
