please help, what would you do?
cowpuc replied to made2care's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
You are more than welcome Maddy, glad to help! And thank you for the info on the Evap Rust:happy34:!! My Ebay order of it arrived today and setting here waiting for me to give it a shot! -
I got a hunch that the torque that the new Venture produces would make it an EXCELLENT Trike Bike! Probably fairly easy to build too being belt drive. I got to help build a Sporty Trike for a neighbor lady a few years ago using a fairly inexpensive aftermarket rear axle assembly and was amazed at how well it rode,, had a BLAST on it = reminded me of CTFW in the woods on my Honda 250r and 350X so much that I just HAD to spin up some donuts with it,, could even get it up on two wheels:guitarist 2:.. The only thing is/was, it ended up having the on road Straight Axle charactoristics (like a TriGlide or a FreeWheeler) because of it being exactly that. Not quite as user friendly as an Independent system but still wayyyy fun!!

Looks like this is what your looking for: https://www.yamahapartsnation.com/oemparts/p/yamaha/22u-14190-15-00/-needle-valve-assembly You may be able to search other vendors and find it cheaper.. Wanna hear something nuts? I googled the part number and came up with at W ALLY WORLD of all places:scared:!!: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Yamaha-22U-14190-15-00-Needle-Valve-Virago-535-Xvz12/714508614?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=17858&adid=22222222227272998262&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=327868822053&wl4=pla-618222792360&wl5=9017502&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=125197119&wl11=online&wl12=714508614&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsZ3kBRCnARIsAIuAV_RyRy7RUsRr9VMFqCCdHjrfukVk1RJkoR3ZqU49lLQWQFOA8WBRfQsaAke5EALw_wcB Sometimes I think the whole world has gone crrraazzzzzzzy!! -

Thought of another one while in there implementing your suggestion Cha.. What do you think?: 14. Completely backwards to ways of the road, here in your club house people really LOVE to be summoned. The problem is is that not everyone hears real well. The Bossman (Don/Freebird) solved some of our hard-of-hearing problems by implementing the usage of the "@" symbol. If you find the need to have a certain lop eared club member varmint respond to a post you are making, using the "@" symbol directly in front of the members screen name will get you the quickest response from the person you are looking for. Look at post 14 above. Notice that Chaharly's name is highlighted and underlined? If used properly, this is a good example of how the person's screen name will appear in your post after you post it.

I hear ya, I LOVE drum feed (got em for both the 556 nato and 7.62 nato AR's, I am waiting for FedArm to break loose with the Drum for my AR12 too. I can pick up a Drum for my AR15 22lr conversion fairly reasonably BUT it wont work with the Madden Grip Loader (works AWESOME) cause ya gotta wind it while ya feed the ammo to it so I am holding off on it. Won't one of these work in your SR if it's built around a 10/22?: https://www.gunbroker.com/All/search?Keywords=10%2F22%20drum&Sort=13 or are you specifically wanting the HC3R?

I would never say never Fool but the button on these QD's is pretty stiff springed and ya gotta push it in below the rim of the receiving bucket to get it to disconnect.. DEFINITELY no where near as easy to release as, sayyy, one of those cheapy little 3 ball Chinese air hose QD connections that we all love so much.. I would give the sling QD a better than 90% chance of never being knocked open by a twig

I just snapped that two point on for show and tell Skidder, I have never messed with the single point but I am gonna as I did grab one over the winter to try. It will be interesting to see how it works for me, I have 0 training with em like you but have lots of time on the 2 point (hunting).. Lots of FUN!!

Not to be confused with one of those lop eared code violatin varmints (hey Sly,, you can ALWAYS send me more pics to post for ya,, ANYTIME my friend!!),, the VR should note that I included PICS with my latest shootin iron drama here LOOKY what finally got here from Cambodia (gotta LOVE E-Bay!),, my $2 sling AR15 swivel finally arrived !! Hard to imagine a fully grown mature man could get so exited about something sooo trivial aint it:hurts:.. Wayyy back last fall when I first started my AR15 build I shopped till I dropped for a low dollar,, low budget, cheap as could be AR bottom end (biker talk for a Receiver) to build on. After a bunch of research, I set out to score on one of the latest generations of the "Plum Crazy" mounts and landed a complete bottom end for $70 bucks - shipped. I had read a LOT of good things on this Polymere receiver, paying very close attention to the exactness in their ability to hold Mil-Spec tolerances on the latest model = it WORKED,, it is AMAZING!! High end trigger group :mo money:dropped right in:Laugh:!! When playing with replacing the trigger group with the latest and greatest, and something I did not notice in all my reading was exactly how complete the unit was/is.. Complete all the way to the little QD's (quick disconnect) cups being built right into the stock from the factory = wayyyyyyy cool!! The QD for the Key-Mod furniture up front came in many moon ago and I have been anxiously waiting for the matching stock QD to get here from Cambodia and TODAY WAS THE DAY:santa:!!!!!!!!! Notice that the "cup" that receives that QD is not needed with the Plum!! I guess I could have tried to talk the seller in Cambodia down 50 cents on the deal and him keep the little cup but, because he shipped for free, I figured what da heck what da hay and sent the 2 bucks!!

Thanks for the Bongo! You lop eared varmints want a GOOD READ? Go back up to BongoBob's post and click on one of the little blue/silver icon's under Bongo's name in his post (these are a good example of clubbers taking advantage of #4 on the new comers list of things to make it happen for them!!). A whole plethora of uplifting goodness right there I tell ya:guitarist 2:!! The kind of read that validates what Bongo is stating above. Varmints encouraging/helpin/lovin Varmints,, dont get no better than that....

Heyyyyy,,, wait a second here,,,, by The Code (and bein an LEO = you of all lop eared VR varmints should KNOW the importance of following The Code) = and there is no where in The Code that says this does not apply for 410 Shotgun shootin irons!!!!!!!! Sure Sly, send me the bill,, as long as the vendor you ordered from accepts Hot Dogs:178: for payment in full,,, the Pucsters got chur back!! After this though:

EXCELLENT!! Now I can my afternoon beauty nap with no fear of nightmares about you coming all the way from Sacramento to Michigan just to throw some SDS bits at my poor, little lop eared varmint bald head!! Ahh oh,, now I got a nuther thought,,, Jack, can you check your owners manual and see if it specs "SDS"? Mine clearly specs "SDS MAX".. Hope I ordered the right stuff :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh: :crackup:

I was actually born with (or I may have been abducted and have had some kind of ET sensor implanted) the innate ability to detect Alien presence. Besides,, everyone KNOWS that no human has the capability of controlling the weather Fool,,, that kind of activity DEFINITELY requires the skilled hands of someone from farrr off in outer space,,, a REAL spacey kind of lop eared ET varmint !!!

On the other hand, it not be a bad idea, in my case, when living with "Annie Oklie" to have a bright light shining down wind of the shooter cause I would sure hate to end up with a backside full of buckshot after going upstairs while pulling an all nighter working on scoots in the basement and needing to use the potty :duck::duck:
