That a girl Mini,, let it out ,, like Tippy keeps telling me in her very special kindergarten teachers voice (Kindergarten was her profession) "winter dont last for ever Bambi" (makes me mad when she does though).... Gotta agree with ya though,, who in the sam hill ticked off mother nature? We literally have just under 4 feet of snow on our deck!!! And the deck over looks the entrance to our basement where my shop is at, and the shop is my man cave,, and I bet when this thaws my man cave is gonna become my swimming pool , and than I am gonna have to spend my riding time bailing water instead of riding and then I am gonna really be ticked.... Ok, I am done too... Good thread,, thanks, I needed that,, phew Next...

Prayers needed for my brother
cowpuc replied to slowrollwv's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Slowroll, just offered up some prayer for you brother and will continue to pray for him and your/his family!!! Thanks for posting this and please, by all means, keep us posted as your brother progresses thru this difficult time!!! Puc -
Never mind the Chop, look in the upper corner of the pic on the wall above the clock,,, you may have to get some more powerful reading classes Nope, didnt "build" that one, just bolted it together,, Amen frame, rebuilt motor.. Here is a shot of one of my actual builds,, this one I had to actually mod the frame out to 46 degree's, I hung on to it for a while and rode it all over the country.. REAL NICE RIDER!!! This is also the one I burned the motor up in out in South Dakota, thankfully those old SOHC 750's are still easy to get parts for... Loved building choppers, wish the market was still there for em!! Yea,, they steer like a bus but man do they go down the highway nice!!

WOW,,, does that bring back memories.... My oh my,, been a longgg time.. Back in the mid/late 60's I had a "White 125" two stroke streetbike,, there was one of those "lil beamers" around town,, cool little bike with wayyyy better sound and looks than my White!! As I recall it was made in Italy by a company called Capini or Caproni (may have been macaroni )... If its the bike I am thinking of though I think your off in this clue Hell Yea, the one I am thinking of was bigger motored than 50cc,, more like between 150 and 200 cc's.. Now that I think about it, the model name actually started with a "C" and had "50" after the name, but seriously on this one the 50 didnt stand for "cc's),,, hmmmm,,, makes my brain hurt.. It would have been made in the mid 50's ish if its the one I am thinking of... I am probably really confusing folks here thinking out loud,, sorry if thats the case... Puc

G'Day Mate and THANK YOU for sharing your article with us!! Excellent piece of reading material Spear with some very good input! Keep up the good work!! By the way, I have no idea what your countries "bikie" organizations are like but around here they can seem difficult to get into but try getting out of one!! I just talked a young man out of becoming a "bikie prospect" by letting him know how the local chapter handles "bikie prospects" after they become members and decide it aint for them... That whole world can easily start out with a kid just looking for a sense of belonging and walking right into a trap! Anyway mate, I wish you the best of luck as you and your fellow countrymen (and ladies Annie ) search for and find a good balance between being able to have good clean fun and not being stereotyped and punished with those who cross the line.. INTERESTING THREAD!! Puc

From the mind of Puc, you asked for it Randy: When every time you go to the Doctor he starts smearing grease on his rubber gloves and says "bend over".. You finally understand that PSA and PSI have nothing in common. You laugh to yourself when you realize your grandkids chatter about "Palm Pilots" is NOT about something that will cause blindness. When you realize that people are not yelling "put your shirt on old man" just to be sarcastic. The days of Eating 5 Whoppers or 8 plates of deep fried shrimp are long gone, now its - honey you want the last half of this Whopper - I am full.. Your buying 3 power reading glasses at Menards and STILL cant see to read. You can remember where you were and what you were doing the day they announced JFK got it.. You can remember getting actually spanked in school for doing wrong, and than getting it from the Principal, and than getting it a third time when you got home.. You remember your 3rd grade teacher leading the class in morning prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. You can remember dynamite being sold at the local hardware store. You KNOW that easy rider rifle racks had nothing to do with Easy Rider magazines.. You can remember when even "Fart" was a swear word worthy of soap in the mouth. You didnt find out till you were at least 20 that "affair" meant something other than something to do with your sisters 4-H club. Naming your bike "Tweakers" (like Tippy and I did) means you work on it to keep it going, and your SHOCKED to find out your kids think your now "Meth Heads".. You have to actually purchase the lyrics to the music your kids are listening to to understand even one word in the song.. You still call the people you lived next door to as a kid by "Mr. and Mrs." and vividly remember the day when under 18 meant you NEVER called an adult by their first name. You can remember pumping Sunoco 260 into the 60's muscle cars for .85 cents an hour (at .32 cents a gallon FOR 260) knowing you would have done it for FREE just to smell the exhaust!! You can remember owning those same muscle cars, and actually junking some out for 25 bucks a car!!! You suddenly realize that the guy who started this thread probably only wanted you to give one example of "you know your getting old when" and that you way over did it again,, you click "submit reply" any way because everyone knows over writing is just another sign of getting old... NICE BIKE!!! :cool10: Oh HELL YEA, Hell yea,,,, rock on good buddy!!! And I think you are amongst the best of the best for VMax forums right here.... Why, you say, why would Puc recommend you stay right here?? Well,, besides having the friendliest and most intelligent bunch of V-4 comerades on one great site you will also get crazy suggestions like this:: Look and see how much trouble it would be to mount a 1st gen seat, a sissy bar with a rack, a set of bags and a fairing on that V-Max.. Then find out what kind of fuel economy the Max gets, then lets take the rear end out of a 1st gen and put it in your V-Max and see what happens to fuel economy/performance... Although Tippy has my cruisin speed goverend at 100 mph (for some reason she gets nervous above 100 ) there are times in those wide open spaces out west that boppin along at 135/140 would just be down right fun,, like when she's sleepin :rotf: Not only that, it'd be fun to have bantering, comparisons, ride reports and pics (like you did) about the mighty V-Max,, besides,, its a blood relative!!!!! Gosh I LOVE your new bike ROCK AND ROLL!! Puc

GOOD ON YA FOR CHOOSING PINK AND LINKIN ARMS WITH THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER!! Mini-muffin,, you wanna really wind this crew up?? Sneak in there when Jeff's sleepin - paint his toe nails to match his cast and snap a picture...:rotf::rotf: It'd be good bribing material if nothin else :rotf::rotf: Take it easy buddy and heal quickly!! Sharp bike, ya kinda hand it to Honda - at least they aint afraid to step out a little farther on the "it dont have to look like a Harley" branch to be sellable.. While I am sure their number one selling status is due to global markets and the top sales status of the 700 mentioned earlier doesnt necessarily represent American/Canadian sales, I am AMAZED at how many of these "sport touring" bikes I see on the roads out west actually touring.. As crazy as this sounds, seems I have witnessed a major change in the cross country touring crowd throughout the years, seems like the last 20 years have creeped more and more into this market.. Getting to be more common to see this style of bike on the road touring than the Venture, Wing and Ultra full touring types.. I remember vividly when the Kawasaki "Connie" came out and the Honda Pacific Coast and how many of my riding buddies laughed at em,, now lots of my buddies admire em (I always did, but I like all bikes - even mopeds).. I also wonder how more women riding has affected all this cause it seems like more and more couples are each on their own bikes and that most of these "sport touring" tourers are riding single... Anyway,, GOOD FOR YOU HONDA,,, and keep up the good work!!! Thanks for the link!! Puc

LOVE the pics and miss the weather~~ :rotf:,,, its ok Trader, you can still be my friend even if you dont want to be :rotf: A friend who can be baught at the cost of a bowl of ice cream cant be beat,, your on the list Tom!!! Hmmmm,,, Lasagna for dinner and ice cream for desert,,,,,,, heyyyy Taters.. Me too TATERS me too!!! My friendship with Big Tom maybe slippinnnn..... Thats the problem with ice cream,, its slippery stuff... And thats the problem with friends who buy friends for the price of a bowl of ice cream,, they will sell ya out when something better comes along,,,, LIKE LASAGNA!!!! Sounds like you have the same people on your friends list as I do Ruffy,,,, bark a lot about eating Lasagna and drool over ice cream :rotf::rotf: 18 friends on my list and still counting,,, long live VR!!:bighug:
