Dear Dan While others may question the name, "Skidmore", that you chose for your new son I think it is marvelous - I bet Skid is in real shock and will make a great God Father!! Tippy and I want to congratulate you and your wife on the coming birth of your new child!! Also, on your purchase of the new Honda Wing, congrats on that too!! I have heard the new ones like you purchased will out run our 1st Gens so you should now be able to keep up with most of us.. Good move!! Skid, you got a really good buddy in YammerDan,, it takes a heck of man to include his friends retirement announcement in with the announcement of his child being born and the purchase of a new bike!! OUTSTANDING RIDE REPORT AHARBI!!! I REALLY appreciate it!! Just to read "90 degrees" in a current ride report is so refreshing! And the pictures, ALL OF THEM, were also down right invigorating - gives me hope for the future!! We saw -11 here at the house last night!! Arent those Indians gorgeous bikes? I really thought Polaris did an outstanding job in their attempt at bringing out the vintage theme using modern technology and thought they really did their homework in producing a VERY rideable piece.. Did you by any chance encounter a hot seat on the left side? What did you think of the 111 performance? Did you notice how flat their torque curve is - it almost seemed to me like just above idle all the way up to red line they pull like a freight train, stock camming/compression ratio/injection worked together perfectly!! Did you by any chance get a price quote from them? There are shops around that are already raising prices a thou or two above MSRP , curious if you guys are seeing that in Texas.. Beautiful bike that hopefully we get to see out and about during our touring season this year! Thanks again for posting!! Puc

I have been watching bike sales out of Florida all winter and am SHOCKED at the extreme deals going on down there.. Unless your attached to your bike, you might consider selling it here and just buying another down there.. Or, wait a few more months and when the snows gone follow your wife down on the bike (being sarcastic - I am sooooo sick of winter).. Sounds like a fun move Angel, best of luck to the two of you!!!! Here's what I come up with... Seems like just yesterday we were all busy naming Dan's new bike. It now appears that our dear brother YammerDan (and his wife) need our assistance again.. Rumor has it that they are expecting!! Its rumored that the official announcement wont be made till Monday but, being a family, I didnt think it would be wise of us to wait for Dan to make the announcement.. Anyway,,, lets all congratulate Dan (and his wife) on the birth of their new child, be it boy or girl I am sure he/she will be a KEEPER and a true BLESSING!!! Congrats Dan!!! Due to the fact that we DONT know if we need a boy's or girls name I propose that we choose names that are ambidextrous... I will start.. Norma, Norman Denise, Dennis Bubba, Bubbles Danielle, Dan O'

Man, I know exactly how you feel brother!! I went thru 5 of those surgerys a number of years ago (four L5/S1's and 1 C2/C3's), spent over a year in a "body brace" and lived on Morphine patches and Norco for 4 years to get thru it,, NOT A FUN PART OF LIFE FOR SURE!! If it wasnt for parallization from the waist down I would have NEVER have done it!! Got a spine full of titanium, cages and scars BUT I can walk/ride again!! Thankfully, you have many folks around you that love you and are in it all with you!! I know without Tippy's love and care I could have never made it this far!! We will be praying for you and your family while you deal with it all and wish you nothing but the best outcomes!!! Puc
