Well Monty,, you were right!! We fed the living daylights out of the varmint, lured him south towards warmer climates (I think that Fool's comment about snow may have scared the critter some too) and chased him as far as South Haven Michigan just to make sure he stayed pointed in the right direction!! I left him a little something on the underside of his right saddle bag just to help him remember what we think of lopped eared varmints like Squid, be sure and take a peek under there if you ever get a chance..

Keep us posted on your progress out there!! I went out and checked Tweeks odometer, it aint moved since it broke in Dennison Texas last year so I have the lowest distance traveled to MD = 0!! If this keeps up that ol girl will never get broke in!

Trying to be as quiet as I can here cause our house guest is still sawing logs and I am on the phone with our sterminator.. Just giving the sterminator some warning that he is about to be sued. I dont get it, I hired a professional pesticide applicator to come and do his thing.. That was only 2 months ago.. That dude advertised himself as "The Terminator" and promised that what ever it was he was spraying would get rid of everything from Alligator's to Zephinapods (some of you may not know what that is - its an alien worm that can chew the back tire right off a Venture in less than 4 hours).. Well, obviously the stuff he sprayed not only didnt work, some species of those sneaky critters are even attracted to what ever it is he sprayed!! Thanks a lot Don (and all you other lop eared varmints),, you guys could have at least warned me - pay backs are HE77!!

Oh yea,,, I got pics!! Problem is I promised someone at MD that I would include a 10,000 word MD report to go along with them when I showed em and that may take a while!! Oh well,, I reckon I wont get in to much trouble for tossing out a few teasers here..

We got a wedding happening here real soon and lots of folks coming in starting saturday - Tip and the daughter got stuff happening all day tomorrow and Friday other wise I would GLADLY switch it to Saturday. Squid and Lonna are going to be spending some time with us (their trailer appeared out back while we were at the Urologist today) and we had hoped we could talk Squid into doing an "up north" ride on Thursday to do this Greet, Meet and Meat thing.. Oh well ya bunch of varmints,, me and Squid will just hafta eat all the Hot Dogs - kind of a shame cause they are REALLY good All Beef Dogs:fatsmiley:

I was planning on sharping up some points on those kick stand plates the Fool brought us and have a chinese throwing star contest using Frosty as a target,, now I wish I would have had time to follow thru with the thought!!:duck:

After observing the love and group dynamics at Maintenance Day that flowed like a soothing river drifting down from the mountains on a beautiful Montana summer day something occurred to me.. Thru hard work out of love for people like you and me, Don and Eileen had done a REMARKABLE job of bringing us all together!! I remember standing back with an :scared:on my face and total admiration in my heart for the two of them!! UNREAL!! Then I read Don's recent post and some more thoughts about something that hit me at MD came back... Those thoughts basically revolved around me asking me what I thought I could do to assist Don in his every day responsibilities in a non disruptive way.. You folks remember Jim Varney/Ernest? He used to sing this little song that I loved,, went something like - "they never grow old, their always brand new, those three little words of Please and Thank You"... This morning I was singing that song when it all came together. IMHO, those little icons at the end of every post here in VR represent some mighty powerful assistant tools for possibly making Don's job just a little bit easier,, maybe.. What I plan on doing from this day forth is whenever I read a post I intend to click on that little "thank you" icon just to let the poster know that I am grateful for his/her taking the time to comment within this awesome "world" that the Bossman and Eileen have worked so hard to create for my enjoyment. A simple little gesture in an effort to maintain tranquility within our family!! Don and Eileen - THANK YOU once again for all of this!! keep in mind, this in no way means that I will no longer be involved with ,,, that would be a promise I could never keep and I always try to keep my promises!!

Tip and I are planning a small (actually hoping it is HUGE) road trip Meet and Greet up at Houghton Lake (Prudenville) Mi day after tomorrow. Hot Dogs, Chips and Pops on me!!!!!! The address we will be meeting at is: 567 E. Houghton Lake Rd, Prudenville Mi, 48651 and we plan on meeting at 1 pm.. If any of this changes I will update ya'll!! Hope to see you there!!!!!

Well you may not know what you are good at brother but I tell ya one thing,, EVERYONE who has ever spent time around this joint or attended one of your Maintenance Day things KNOWS exactly what you are good at - CREATING THE PLATFORM FOR AND MAINTAINING THE FAMILINESS THAT VR IS KNOWN FOR!! I think Jonas and Gretta hit the nail on the head Don,, their words that they shared are EXACTLY the way it is my friend! You and Eileen are AMAZING individuals! Like most folks on here, I have been involved in many websites forums and can honestly say - what you folks have done with all of this is beyond imagination and I for one am thankful to God himself for allowing me the privilage and honor to be associated with you two and all the GREAT family members that are found throughout this wonderful family!!
