Tell ya one thing good buddy, this getting older business aint for the faint of heart!! Prayers Up and Blessings Down as you continue tending to your physical maintenance needs Rand!! Wishing you nothing but the BEST!!

You are all welcome and THANK YOU to each of you who made it out - it was indeed my pleasure getting to meet new folks and getting to hang out with my already friends!! Tweeks, Tip and I had a BLAST because of each of you!! If you happen to have missed this one (we were once again down on our expected 12000 member attendance goal) please keep an eye out for our next one - hopefully in mid August after returning from Sturgis.. I hope all of you attendee's put your "Grand Prize" winnings to good use and consider taking full advantage of the "prize" by using it to hold a few of these awesome Greet - Meet and Eat Meats" too.. Follow the instructions included in your grand prize and I will pick up the tab on all the dogs, pops, chips, beads throughout the 2015 Michigan ride season..

Oh yea,, another really cool thing,, I rebuilt the bottom end of the red one posted, Kawasaki still stock ALL the parts I needed and everything was very fairly priced.. I think maybe it was because they made those scoots for so long (maybe 86/03?) that the parts never went obsolete.. Definitely a plus!! Had a 85 Honda EFI Wing (rarer one year model) that all I needed was a pressure regulator for, could find one NO WHERE on the planet.. A frustration you will probably never realize with your Kawi John! Just dawned on me here,, I think @Jrichard rides a Voy 2.. Maybe he will chime in with some good ol southern hospitable advice..

I LOVED those bikes, matter of fact, if they were a closer fit to my body size, I would have kept one of the ones we had and still be riding it today - just way to cramped for me in the cockpit. FANTASTIC fuel economy scoots!! I know the HP numbers are almost identical to our 1st Gens but they didnt seem to pull as hard, different type of delivery without the "come alive feeling" at 4 grand like they good ol Yam's. Definitely a worthy machine though!! Tell ya one thing, ANYONE who has a short inseam and is looking for decent older model of a scoot to go touring on - the Voy 2 should not be over looked.. Also, conscerning the "whine",, on the lower right side of the engine are a couple of small shafts sticking out. Those shafts are adjustments for the balance shaft gear lash.. One of my Voy 2's came to me with a "whine" that could have easily mistook for tranny noise. I worked the noise out of it thru adjusting this.. A pretty cool feature on the Kawi I thought!! CONGRATS ON THE FIND JohnT!! GORGEOUS SCOOT!!

BUT,, I think my Wisconsin White Wash driveway blower would attach to the front of one real nicely - up near the "frunk" as Carl would say..

Talking tires,, guess I what I noticed this weekend..

By the way, I do agree with ya Sys, that does appear to be like a box cutter slice doesnt it.. I would be my head too and wondering if someone maybe should not have used a box cutter to open their new tire supply.. -

Sys, I have had similar side wall scrapes and successfully ran em all the way to bald. I have also had em like that and ended up tossing the tire.. I always base me judgement on how deep the cut is, that side wall outer rubber tends to be pretty thin and if the cut is deep enough to be able see cords in it - ya really got no choice but to replace it. Best way to check it is to pull the tire, set it in the sun till its good and warm and fold it so you can see into the cut really well - you see cords get a new tire.. Also, ANY puncture thru the side wall that is leaking air - no matter how small - is just not worth the risk of repair - new tire time IMHO.. -
Nothing makes the heart beat faster and the adrenaline pump purer than reading seeing a work in progress like this!! Looking good there Lar - will be watching for the progress pics!!!

We played on the Helix last night till almost midnight,, just didnt wanna miss a gorgeous summer evening ride,, with all the recent from that cheese head with the :snow::cold: machine lately I figured probably better not miss one!!! -
Last message I got from our Canuck friends was last night.. Dogman and Marcarl are suppose to be headed this way.. If they do choose to spend the night with Tweeks, Tip and I and they show up around here before dark I will see if they would like to do a short lake shore ride this evening (those ol geezers will probably be to tired).. Maybe over to catch Grand Haven's Musical Fountain or something... Thought I would post this up in case anyone else might wanna join us if that were to happen... If so, best give me a shout (231-744- rest is in my profile) or, if your my neighbor @bluestar99 you can just stop by here and find out what's going on OR leave a message here for me to contact you in the event that this memorable occasion should happen (never know about that Carl, I still think he is skeerd to sleep over at Puc's Place)... P.S. - this includes all you working folks who cant make the official Hot Dog pig out tomorrow at 11:30 am.. You can still shoot over for a BEAUTIFUL (man it was GORGEOUS out last night - PERFECT for an evening Lake Shore ride!!) coast along the coast!! :stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot::stirthepot:
