While it does look endlessly exciting and does have unimaginable spectacular views,, as far as danger goes - I think places like the road leading into the Holland tunnel in NYC, the Dan Ryan in Chicago or even 99 or the 5 coming down out of Sacramento have it beat:missingtooth:

  15. Sorry Mirider,, didnt mean to harass ya or nuttin like that. Some of these lop eared varmints been using secret code on here but you haven't shown to be part of that group (they know who they are), that wasn't very thoughtful of me (I am usually more careful than that:big-grin-emoticon:).. In my own defense, thought I would show I am just as cool as varmints like @etcswjoe and that gang of troublemakers, kinda backfired:255:. Anyway,, BSC stands for Before Snoper Charger and PSC stands for Post Snoper Charger. IMHO, Nino had a fair to nominal chance against the standard version of the Wisconsin White Washer but the inventor's appropriation of that Snoper Charger last year is a game changer - again IMHO... Dont know if you who live inland noticed it or not but a couple days ago das Fool momentarily fired up just the Snoper,, the effect on TP (The Pond) was waves going OVER the Light House on the Muskegon Pier!!
  16. :lightbulb:noticed you have other states not colored in yet too, you could just drive the truck/trailer up here to Michigan, park it here in our yard and ride off to color in a bunch of those missing states right from our back door!!! Your always welcome here Lenny!! Oppsss,, almost forgot,, gotta charge for storage though = willingness to have pictures and video taken:big-grin-emoticon:
  17. My money is on da Fool. I seen Mr. Nino do his work before and indeed,, he did a pretty good job BUT - that was BSC,, now that we are PSC I really dont think MR. Nino has much of a chance..
  18. Naw,, we may be a bunch of lop eared varmints but one thing we dont do is pick on one another. Well,, maybe once in great great great while but only out of love We love you too Lenny!!
  19. Wondering if the bearing spacer (collar) shown in the pic either has a tweek in it from the accident or is out of round in some way.. Seems like those spacers are not a precision fit on its OD/ID (like the bearing ID race to Axle is) - probably end to end though, depending on how you were hit in the accident, it would be possible to take a side hit on the front wheel or even a fork leg, push against the bearing and the spacer would could take the hit as impact is passed on to bearing on other side.. I would replace the spacer and, if the Axle showed any form of bend when rolled on a surface plate, wear marks or dimpling I would replace it too.. Also take a careful peek inside the wheel,, maybe have a high spot in the casting that needs to be cleaned up.. Maybe you could get the shop that did the work in the first place to reimburse for parts,, specially if they put a used axle into the front of a bike that had been involved in a front end collision.. That would be a no no around my old shop....
  20. The bolt GW is showing you replaces the bolt in the end of the crank, simple in and out with an impact. The new bolt has an oil orfice in the end of it that sprays oil out. The little round plate is a splash plate that tosses the spray coming out of the crank against the stator.. Also as GW mentioned,, you need to do this.. Speaking about Stator issues,, another thing you could do to assist in your scoot becoming a healthy high miler is remove the left plastic side cover (covers engine top end), find the Stator output terminal that contains the 3 white wires coming from the stator - it will be attached to the small frame down tube. Remove the terminal and hard wire the stator wires in - pull wires from terminal, strip back for soldering, slide a 3 inch piece of shrink tube over all three wires and a 2 inch piece of shrink tube over each individual wire, butt join and solder wires together, cover each with shrink tube and shrink it, slide the 3 inch up and shrink it.. Trust me,, you will be glad you did!!!
  21. This is one of those times when I wish we had a "NO THANKS" key to click on,, or at least a "Dont like" button..

  25. and tomorrow's headlines read: Notorious Oberlin lop eared varmint busted for trying to smuggle spare Harley parts across WV state line in preparation for 2016 International Rally. WV State Police tipped off by anonymous caller who told police exactly where to look in the offenders Avalanche!! A group of innocent bystanders, all who had matching shirts on with "VR.org" embroidered on their shirts, claim to have heard the offender stating "I knew I should have stayed with my Yamaha Venture"..
