Hey Zzzzz,, maybe I can help ya out brother.. A note like that on the Fridge usually means there is something wrong with the Furnace. A note on the Furnace means to check the Wash Machine/Dryer. A note on the Wash Machine means the lights are out in the bathroom. Just be thankful the note wasn't on a garbage bag with your clothes stuffed into it and sitting on the lawn.. THAT usually is not be a good sign... Hope all is ok brother!!

Of course,, you do realize that baiting for hugs when hugging for status is not actually legal in some States dont cha Jeff? It may not be proper Competitive Hugging Etiquette and, in some circles, it may also be considered bad form. I am wondering if it might not be a bad idea to run a Poll on the subject, preferably before you open the lid on those little time bombs, and see how everyone feels about it.

a friend of hers named Gretta from Ice Land. Gretta told Eileen that she had just seen on "World News Tonight" that a retired Detective on a Blue 1st Gen Yamaha was in high speed pursuit of Eileen and Don and she wanted to know if there was anything her and Jonas could do. Don's eyes glared at his wife knowing that he had not paid the phone bill in over 2 months and had used the money for the bill to help buy the new Avalanche, he wondered how Eileen

My first experience with the first trailer that I ever owned.
cowpuc replied to Eck's topic in Watering Hole
I was thinking exactly the same thing!!! Only thing that could have been better would to have gotten to see the first production of "Mr. Eck Demonstrates His Adult Teeter Tooter" live!!! Good one Eck - down right excellent story!! -
Indeed, those were tough scoots. One of the issues I had thru the years of working on all the older Jap multi cylinder scoots had to do with them sitting for a long time without being ran. Its not uncommon for someone who owns one to forget to prelube the top end before they attempt to fire it up. Most, if not all, of the metric's are line bored aluminum "bearings" that the cams run in. Spin em up dry with no prelube and they gall real easily. They can be repaired but its kind of a hassle. Just knowing the history of the bike helps a lot! Another issue pertains to rusty tanks, a quick pen light check with a mirror (make sure you look at the roof) will reveal a lot. I had to coat many of those old tanks (use Red Kote - stay away from "Cream Coat"). Never had much long term luck with inline filters, those dog gone teeny little rust dust particles always seemed to find they into the carbs AND, the carbs on those GS's can be a bugger to work on. Also remember those brake caliper pistons,, have your son check em by center standing the scoot, hit the brakes hard and then see if the wheels spin freely after releasing the brakes. In the end, nothing wrong with those older scoots especially if they have been used regularly throughout their lives. I know what cha mean Don about really not wanting the "kids" to follow in our tracks,, whats good for the Goose isnt always good for the Gander so to speak,,, the change over from them being a child to being an adult can be trying at times... If Dylan is lacking in Motorcycle experience and he were my son I would set up a track around your building out back, pick up a couple of cheap XR100's and go to making tracks in the dirt before seeing him ride off on the highway - if he were willing. Knowing you though, he probably already has plenty of stick time.. Tell him I said all the best on the scoot and to be careful out there!!!

"not sure but it looks like something I read about once on an internet site full of crazy bikers called VentureRider.org, I think it would be best that we leave - NOW". Being the good husband that he is, Freebird dropped the pretty white Avalanche into drive and slammed the throttle down onto the floor.. The truck lunged forward with such force that the mysterious sealed envelope slid off the dash and

Dragged home a little heater that nobody wanted cause it has a problem. Been setting for a while waiting patiently for me to find a round-tuit and pull it apart to see if it was worth repairing. Now that I found the "tuit" motivator thing in the form of cold weather setting in and my good friend over in Wisconsin is anxiously waiting to test out the Snopercharger on his White Wash Machine,, I thought I would check it out.. Discovered that some of the ferrets inside their little tubular cage had escaped causing some interesting problems - basically involving a decreased capacity in the remaining ferrets ability to run and in deciding what direction to run (I think the lead ferret who made all the decisions is one of them that escaped).. I was however able to assist the remaining ferrets in their capacity to run and together,, we actually got the ol heater to fire up!!! Part three being uploaded as I type...
-
It is soooo ironic that you chose tonight to fire up the ol Wisconsin White Washer Fool!! The irony is found in the fact that this is also the night that I discovered I gotta get some new ferrets if I wanna have heat in the garage to melt the white wash off the car if/when it breaks down. This proves that our cosmic wave lengths are finally lining up and who knows, maybe next riding season even our ride schedules will line up and you can get over here to some GREAT Hot Dog Greet - Meet and Eat Meat gatherings!!

Not if ya smear ice cream all over yourself and then roll around on the desert floor before you take off on your scoot!!

See,, now that wasn't do difficult was it:big-grin-emoticon:? ROCK N ROLL!! NICE JOB CARL,, on both the home made balance axle and on the 's.. You da man brother!! You inspired me to start my winter projects early, not gonna go into great detail here but I can tell you this first project involves some ferrets who got out of their container.. Loading up part one of that projects video clip right now

What is your winter project for this year?
cowpuc replied to Venturous Randy's topic in Watering Hole

What da heck is this mind's eye stuff,, only thing in my minds eye is a set of unwritten forum rules. I been pawing thru those rules and still have found nothing that says Carl is exempt from the :worthless:rule. May just be the job actually required 5 nuts but you only had to find 4 more cause one of them was the nut who built the contraption we dont get to see?

alien innards as Don had seen on a TV show called Men In Black. Don and Eileen were very relieved to see that the substance was merely some tire repair gunk and not some innards from an alien cause everyone knows that if you get to close to intergalactic space alien innards you could end up..
-
Like Ernest would say,, "well there's your problem right there" (might be easier for some of you lop eared varmints - Carl - to just watch the little video clip,,, know what I mean).. That should explain exactly why I ended up getting many more hugs during Don's MD then you did @Marcarl.. Hope your paying attention..

Ctn, if we are talking about a Colortune like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/GUNSON-COLORTUNE-12MM-SPARK-PLUG-TUNE-UP-TOOL-/191511721127?hash=item2c96fcf4a7:g:BAsAAOxyu0BRfC2z&item=191511721127&vxp=mtr then yes,, I have had a little exposure to it and yeppers - our Ventures are "D" or 12mm plugs (better double check that though, at least the 1st Gens are, never had the pleasure of owning a 2nd).. Last year I had an opportunity to get aquainted with a Colortune at @OrlinEngh 's MD over in Wisconsin.. If memory serves me, it was Ken's bike and colortune I played with.. Anyway,, I loved the whole concept of the Colortune and can see where, in the right hands it could/would be a handy tool. Definitely a major plus as you can see the flame burn color, firing consistency and all that right before your eyes! I would LOVE to have 4 of them but, because of affordability in my case - I would rather have one of the above and a set of adapters like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/14mm-Colortune-Adapters-10mm-12mm-14mm-Long-and-Taper-18mm-/281777742649?hash=item419b432339:m:m-evYxcdDu4LJuHU1D61ULg&item=281777742649&var=&vxp=mtr as opposed to owning more than one tuner.. Of course,, if money is no issue than indeed,, it would be fun to have multiples.. I like to play with metering rod fuel tuning cause its a lot easier on these big boys, also used to finish fine tune on the small 4 stroke Honda's and got fairly good at it.. I did a LOT of 2 stroke dirtbike tuning using the "plug chop" method over the years and have found that four strokes are a little more tricky to read plugs on then back in my 2 stroke days (perhaps the two stroke oil burn created a much easier detected light tan color than 4 strokes - IMHO).. I really really enjoyed the Colortune at Orlin's and strongly believe that with a little time for learning I could forget the fooling around with my Yam's trying to read plugs and could do a MUCH more accurate fine tune with a Colortune.. No idea if you know it but the Colortune basically gives you a window into the combustion chamber thru the area of a sparkplug that is usually ceramic. It was fairly easy to use, even with the plugs buried on the Venture like it is. Has a long reach flexible terminal on it that you can screw the "plug" in with. A very well built precision tuning instrument for sure.. Something else to consider here when thinking about taking advice from me.. I am one of these Vacuum Gage freeks when it comes to carb sync tools.. Just a wayyyy old school type of character, still change my own tires by hand and all that kind of stuff. I say that cause there may be better ways/tools to do the stuff we are talking about (like an exhaust "sniffer").. I guess what I am saying is consider the source here (me) before going out and spending your money!! Maybe do more research or hang around here and see if someone more knowledgeable about the Colortune concept comes along.. All the best Puc

back to his garage to balance the front tires on his Spyder cause now they had a funny wobble. The prankster thought he may try some balancing slime he had heard about to correct the bounce in the front of his scoot.. Being in a strange town with even stranger people surrounding him, he decided to stop at the home of a well known, very good looking and extremely intelligent person in the area to see if he

Even if one of them steel things accidently gets pushed into the dryer like normal hair sometimes does?? Seems like I heard once that under certain circumstances lectricy can sneak around its smoke covering and get cha before the wires start leaking their smoke....

Nothing wrong with tire kicking and yakking about it though,,, personally I think this is half the fun!! I know one thing Roller,, that gorgeous RSV of yours should have no problem easily carrying you well into the future!!
