Sorry to hear that Zzz, was hoping this would be an easier one - ratss. IMHO, next step would be to follow Carls advice and check the line itself. Seems we are chasing the problem right back to answering your question concerning the proportioning valve itself. In answering that question of whether or not it could be the valve, indeed it seems very possible that the valve is plugged and is the source of your issue. I have never had an issue with that valve (knock on wood) so I have no idea whether or not it can be taken apart and cleaned - if it were mine though I would at least give it shot before looking for a replacement valve BUT - check the line as Carl mentions first and we will :fingers-crossed-emoits just a plugged line!!

You try bleeding from the banjo at the rear caliper Zzz? I would start there just to make sure I wasnt messing with a plugged orvice in the caliper first..

Speaking about being a revenge filled varmint full of nasty pay back ideas that will ultimately change the driving habits of people who inhabit planet earth and whose little children will cry because the cows who normally provided ample amounts of milk for their morning cereal froze while trying to get back into their milking sheds and even the families who grew worms for fishermen suffered because their worms could not figure out how to dig their way out of 5 mile deep snow,,,,,,,, how ya coming on the formula for the snow that wont melt until it reaches 60 degrees? Hopefully my investment dollars are safe:fingers-crossed-emo Your FRIEND Puc

Nasty bunch of lop eared's those are!! :lightbulb:I betcha short selfie video of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your new car singing "little deuce coupe" would blow those lop eared varmints right out of the water:big-grin-emoticon:

Havent seen the movie yet so I cant say but here is a pic of one of my favorite famous lop eared varmints chasing down a Syth Lord who is attempting to escape on an orange Harley - good luck with that ya lop eared varmint Syth).. Also included a pic of Tippy interviewing that same lop eared varmint after the Syth was caught - also notice her telling the lop eared varmint how surprised she was that her non-varmint knight in shining armor husband and the lop eared varmint she is speaking to could eat a gravy covered plate of french fries as big as the circle she is making with her hands - the look of "nahhhh" on his lop eared face is priceless!! Hope this suffices until I get a chance to see the new Stars Wars and return with a full report of any lop eared varmints therein..

Indeed, home RJ:group cheers: and a huge THANK YOU for doing your part in maintaining our way of life my friend. Hopefully everyone living in one of Earths country's where freedom still shines realizes how thankful we should be for individuals like yourself - I know I sure am:uk2:!! Hearing about the loss of some of your family members and brothers in arms while you were gone deeply saddens my heart, wish there was something other that telling you that you have my condolences that I could do. Hoping and praying that knowing you have my/our thoughts and prayers while you work through the grieving process now that your back home will help in some small way. Looking forward to chatting with you here on the forum my friend, oh, what the heck,, may as well get your return to your family here started off right,, looking forward to chatting with you ya lop eared varmint ! If ya need any advice on your scoot, count me in as one more than happy to help:thumbsup:! Also look forward to meeting up with you at a rally or two as soon as our resident Fool stops playing with his infamous Wisconsin White Washer and summers warm sun makes riding doable again. Matter of fact, we would be honored to have you shoot up to Michigan and enjoy one of "Puc's Greet - Meet and Eat Meats" with us. All the best Hot Dogs you can eat - combined with all kinds of smiling faces of the greatest bunch of other lop eared varmints known to man will make the journey well worth your time - guaranteed:thumbsup:!! Bring your lovely bride along too RJ, she will be well fed and find LOTS of fellow lady friends that will help her keep her sanity while us men folk make a valiant attempt at driving each deeper into lop eared varmint land!! Great to hear from you! Puc

THANKS Karaboo!! So Boo,, in your opinion how did it stack up compared to the other episodes? Is this one your new favorite or did it not quite make the cut?

I would keep an eye on Craigslist Larry, I am sure you can find one fairly reasonable, maybe do a country wide search thru a site like adhuntr.com . I know I passed on one in Indiana a couple years ago that came with a a non running 1st Gen attached to it for $1200. Seems like even an older Ural hack would work nicely for what your talking about. Thinking the biggy would be finding the proper hardware and setting it up properly.. Seems like @Carbon_One has or had one he was working on setting up a while back - maybe see if he responds here or PM him and pick his brain a little about it all.. Oh, wait a second here,, just read above where you talked about having the dog on your tank at one time,, thinking you are talking about side hackin out a Gen 2? I am thinking Carbon One was working on a 1st Gen,, may or may not be able to help but we shall see..

Prayers Up on the sad loss brother, absolutely a terrible thing to hear about:95:!! Blessings Down in the form of the good news there were no injuries my friend though:thumbsup:!! PS,, gotta agree with BJ, only reason I hit the "thanks" button was to let you know how much I REALLY appreciate you letting us know about this horrible situation, THANK YOU Carl for keeping your VR family in the loop! PS, is there anything we can do? Gonna need to do one of those Go Fund Me things to keep it all together? PLEASE let us know if that is the case!!

Right there with ya Blue,, just another perfect example of our living motto that says "when life gives ya lemons,, go find some other place to eat Hot Dogs "... I gotta sneaking hunch this bunch of lop eared varmints will forget all about that "AHHHH OAHH" come spring of 16 when we are all settin around stuffing our faces with REAL Puc's Hot Dog's Even if they dont actually forget,, those all beef dogs will sure quiet em down some,, ,, all of em cept @Marcarl,, gonna take more than a Hot Dog to quiet that one down

Part 3 The lady who answered the phone when I called 911 asked way to many questions so I just told her to send an ambulance to our home address. I hung up the phone, ran back to our bedroom where Tip and our 1st child were doing better. Tip asked how long I thought it would be before the ParaMedic's got there. We lived out in the sticks at the time, I told her at least 20 minutes. She remembered a friend of ours named Lew Stone had been an EMT before he became a school teacher. Lew lived about a 1/4 mile from us, I went and called him. Lew came down, walked in our bedroom and asked if I could get him some shoe laces and a good pair of scissors. I went and pulled the shoe laces out of my tennis shoes, grabbed some scissors out of Tips sewing box, went back and handed them to Lew. He had me tie the umbilical cord off real tight with the scissors and then he cut between the shoe laces with the scissors. He wrapped our baby in the towel and handed her to Tippy just as the Ambulance crew came running thru the front door.. The ambulance crew took one look at what had happened before they got there and the lady EMT asked "What did you call us for?" and giggled. Because of her size and being a preemee, Awahoo ended up having to spend 2 weeks in an incubator at the hospital. Also, because we delivered her accidently at home she had to spend all that time in isolation. This was really hard on Tip cause we wanted to have a normal child birth BUT - we made the best out of it and made sure one of us were with our daughter at all times so she wouldnt get lonely. A few months later found Tip, Awahoo and I sharing our very first Christmas together as a family, the best Christmas present I have ever known.. A few short years later and an ol Pucster with a middle aged Awahoo could still be found riding an old beat up 1st Gen across the California deserts..

Sorry Lar,, got side tracked and lost track of time (think that was bad = go for a bike ride with Tip and I and let us lead sometime ) Part 2 I looked up at Tippy who looked like she was concentrating on controlling A LOT of pain.. I told her that it looked like our 1st child was on the way regardless of what the doctor had said.. I didnt have a CLUE what to do, Tippy stopped moaning and told me to go get a towel to catch the baby in.. I RAN thru the house like a chicken with my head cut off looking for a towel, then it dawned on me - oh yea, the closet in the bathroom.. Ran back to our bedroom and Awhoo's little head was half way out:scared:. I knelt down just in time to watch her head become fully exposed.. With teary eyes, I told Tip that our baby was not gonna make it because she was way to premature and deformed - she LITERALLY had no eyes or mouth or nose - only tiny little slits where those features were suppose to be. I watched my precious wife start to shake some with remorse from the news about our baby.. I reached down with my hands and held our childs tiny little head and, in an effort to assist her into the world - I found myself wanting to tug just a little.. Something deep inside me told me this was NOT a good idea.. Tippy moaned and Awahoo popped out fully into my towel covered hand, the tiniest little person you ever did see with NOTHING under her precious skin to hold it off her tiny bones.. The skin literally hung from her tiny dead body.. I felt myself starting to cry.. All of sudden, Awahoo's face took form - right there in my hand her tiny lifeless face with no sign of features BLOSSOMED!! Her nose popped out, her eyes took on form and her little lips moved and popped out as her mouth opened - SHE WAS TRYING TO BREATH!! I tried to use my little finger to get stuff out of our babies mouth cause she sounded like she was choking but it was way to big. I announced our precious daughter was alive, Tip turned her shoulders toward me to talk to me while I held our baby in my hand with her umbilicle cord still attached. Tip moved her own arms around to the right, reached back and held our child in her hands and told me to go get the little squeeze bulb we used to rinse out our ears.. I ran into the bathroom, opened the medicine cabinet, grabbed the little blue squeeze bulb and ran back into the bedroom. Awahoo was breathing better as Tip had been working on cleaning her mouth out with her smaller pinky. I took the little squeeze bulb and sucked around inside Awahoo's mouth while Tip held her little body in her motherly hands.. Awahoo started to cry, I started to laugh n cry at the same time and Tip started telling me to go call an Ambulance. Part 3 coming up....
