And enjoy the read I did brother - GOOD FIND - thanks for passing it on!! :clap2::dancefool: THAT was very informative including things like why ya gotta lose valve overlap when turboing, anti spark knock technology, dropping compression ratio and how they manage ignition timing.. TONS of really cool stuff in there for sure.. What neat machine that scoot is - I dont think I have ever even seen one on the road but would love to own one to play on!!

Not me baby,, Tip ALWAYS stays with me!! If they want a Tip they gotta go find their own!! I go with the thought of tossing em a few bucks if they do a good job.. Maybe even remind them of why you are tipping them in the process - sometimes a pat on the back and a thank you is almost as much appreciated as the extra cash...

+ 2 for that category!! Would LOVE to say for sure for Tip and I but,, and then there's,,,,, and who know's if.... Time will tell and we sure hope that what it ends up telling is that we are able to make it to Oberlin this year!! WHAT A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dancefool::dancefool::dancefool: -
Those things REEK of fun!! I always thought they looked like a modern day roller coaster (like the Raptor, Batman or something like that) that cut itself loose from its rails in order to sneek off and go out seeking adventure.. We have seen a number of them out and about now that they have been in production for a while and gotta warn ya,, people driving them are usually being followed by all kinds of Paparopsees and Mamaheadturners - sorta like movie star status on three wheels if you will... Congrats Gary!! Hope the two of you have a BLAST out there with your new Sling - come on up for a Hot Dog sometime - be GREAT to have two movie stars (sounds like that Carbon One is coming back for more Dogs too:clap2:) show up this year!!

WOW ZZZZZZZZZZZ WOW WOW WOW,, NOW WE'RE COOKING WITH FROZEN FINGERS AND BENT FORKS!!! @Condor, sorry about ya losing your story my good friend cause we sure would have enjoyed reading about life with your Square Four brother!! I have ALWAYS loved the looks and sound of those sweethearts.. FYI - something I have learned when dealing with these computers and after having done exactly what you are talking about (several times as a matter of fact) is that I now open a new window - open my email - copy/paste a copy of the story into my email and send it to myself for a backup.. Has saved me from loosing everything should my computer decide to get even with me for torturing it.. I usually only find this necessary if I have started something on here and had to leave it for any reason - or if its an exceptionally long story.... GREAT STORIES YOU GUYS and all the participation is greatly appreciated.. Now, quoting that lop eared varmint @videoarizona - "so whose next"? Need a primer?

Soon,, very very soon!!

Sad to hear this Dave but certainly understand my friend.. It's kind of crazy how life can change - I still think the key is to be flexible and roll with the flow. Sounds like that is exactly what you two are doing.. Also a good reason to ride while we can and build the memories while we are at it - and take LOTS of great 's along the way - which I KNOW and appreciate the fact that folks have done exactly that !! I LOVED the 's you folks past on to us during your stay down on the Island - wayyyyy cool!! Glad to hear your still gonna be around and riding that FJR my friend - AWESOME SCOOTS!! That Ascot is one GORGEOUS scoot and I know from viewing your pics over the winter that your Venture is too. All the best in your upcoming sales - somebodies gonna get a gorgeous bike,, or two!! Puc

CONGRATS TO BOTH OF YOU!! Do you know what these two smilies together represent:photographing:? I know its Easter Weekend and the local cop shop is closed for the weekend but ya might wanna consider slipping your camera in your pocket and snappin a couple 's next time you two are out enjoying the mountains on your scoot.. Those around here are kinda sneaky! PS - I just read your post to Tippy (my wife) and she said give your wife a :bighug:for us and tell her she (Tip) says to stick with it - she is in for the time of her life!!!! -

I KNEW someone on here had a good ol Duc story rollin around in there somewhere,, and see,, that weren't so hard twer it!! PERFECT you Eye of an Eagle varmint you!!! Ya know what Steve,, when I first noticed that you had responded to this I got all picturing you leaning over the bars of a Widow Maker H2 750 Kawi, kissing the front fender while banging 5th gear on a 1/4 mile drag strip just reaching for all your worth for a 10 second win!!! Gotta say though,, getting run over by a car while running an Enduro on an old Ducati is RIGHT THERE TOO!! Good story brother!!

According to the article, the unhoppy little lop eared varmint received a "warning" and was released. Hopefully that silly rabbit is a wise silly rabbit and double checks with the California DMV to see if what he was told about it being a "warning" actually holds any truth to it.. Tip and I received one of those "warnings" out in California and found out via letter to our home in Michigan from the Sacramento Superior Court a couple months after the fact that Officers in the State of California dont issue "warnings" and it ended up costing us 500 dollars all because the Officer who issued the "warning" did not like the color of Tips helmet (it was a white half helmet that the Officer said looked to much like a California Police Motorcycle Helmet - got to admit, it did look a lot like the helmet the officer was wearing). Another peek at the article reveals that the silly rabbit probably was from CA so he probably already knows that tricks in California REALLY are not just for kids
