Yep,, here in the humidity its gotta be air conditioning - part of the cooling process of conditioning the air is the removal the humidity.. Out in the dry regions adding moisture to the air is manditory... Had a friend who I helped move from California to here.. While I was out there with the Semi picking up some of his families belongings he had me stop and pick up a great big swamp cooler for his new garage back here in Michigan.. I tried to explain,, didnt work,, had to do it his way... Sure didnt take long for the ways in the bed of his lathe to completely rust over... TOTALLY AWESOME job there David:clap2:!!!!!! I ever get to the part of my bucket list where it reads "enough with this snow already - MOVE WEST PUC" I may have to call on you brother for some swamp cooler :thumbsup:mentoring!!

GREAT write up Vaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!! Bet we wouldn't here no whining from club members if @Freebird decided to "pin" that list somewhere,, maybe in the Tech Section:missingtooth:.. I am always looking for this kind of stuff to share with others when they ask about problems and to solve issues of my own.. LOTS of good points there David!!

Sometimes I wonder how on earth a precious lady like that one ever ended up permanently attached to the back of my scoot but hey,,,, I'm not one to turn down a blessing when God is passing em out You do Sedona,, dont miss out on this one!! I hit that mountain top town every time I pass thru that area - GORGEOUS!!!

My worst of the worst has been Metz.. First they feather and even viberate noticably as they sing in the corners.. Then they start tossing chunks of rubber especially if your riding on hot tarmac..

Yep,, right there with Bongo,,, I know on the MK1's that puppy is on the "firewall" right above the headlight on the right hand side if you are facing the headlight.. You can access it fairly easy by pulling the headlight cover and headlight - its either the first or second relay from the right in those little rubber holders.. -
BEEEEE-UUUUUUUU-TEEEEE-FULLL pics = Thanks you guys!!! @zagger are you running an open forward bevel box on that puppy?? Nahhh,, cant be,, gotta be a see thru cover on it??? That Frankenstien of yours is my kind of scoot!! If I owned that puppy - Franky and I would have allllll kinds of fun on Main Street of Sturgis at 4 a.m...:guitarist 2::guitarist 2::guitarist 2::guitarist 2: Definitely pure American imagineering and creative ingenuity sitting right there I tell ya GOOD JOB BROTHER!

Had one once that liked to loose air in the rear shock.. If I wasnt careful to park it in a decent lean it would tip over.. LOL,,, this all brings back memories of another one,,,, parked on the slab outside the garage - tossed a cover on her - took the Van to work cause the weather looked pretty nasty - came home from work to find my 1st Gen almost upside down - the wind tried to steal that one...
-
Nope,, no TPS on the 1st Gens,,,, at least on the MK1's = not sure on the MK2's cause I never worked on one... Many years I played around a LOT with vacuum gauges mounted in my cars.. Those great big steering colum mounted gauges were not only cool looking but VERY functional for keeping up a good fuel sip.. Keeping up a steady high vac was a way to really stretch those scarce fuel pennies back when I was a kid...
