BEAUUUTIFULL Bossman!!!! Just GORGEOUS!!!! When I was a kid I believe it was Western Auto here locally that sold a similar interchangeable 22/22mag revolver - plain jane stuff but I always LOVED em!!! Buddy had the Ruger = good shooters!! RIGHT THERE WITH YA DAN!!! Gotta a Mark 1 that I bought brand new back in the early 70's for 80 bucks.. Have shot THOUSANDS of rounds thru it.. Even hand cut a scope mount for it out of a block of aluminum = talk about accurate and fun.. You ever try sub sonics in yours?? I use to shoot with some Cops (friend was Chief of Police) and found out about slowing down the 22LR for accuracy = WOWZY WOW WOW WOW does that work!! You know those "flyers" you can get as the barrel gets hot? NONE with subsonics!! ,,, thumbing thru their site brother - NICE!!! Prices even lower than Gunbroker on lots of stuff!!! Thinking about picking up a 92f or maybe a Taurus 92 9mm.. 15 cents per round 9mm - LOVE my 1911 but .25 cents everytime it goes bang,,,,, loses something in the translation so to speak THANK YOU for the link VAz!!! -

IMHO,, you have gotten a TON of very healthy and wise advice going on here Gary.. Personally,, if I were saddled with the same dilema you are talking about I would DEFINITELY do something with a winch too.. I know that HF sells a small, 2500 pound outfit for about 50 bucks - seems that would be perfect.. I would also make sure that when I attached the winch inside the Toyhaulers garage, I did so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, = BIKER ALERT!!! 2:11pm here in Muskegon on the lake shore = it is HAILING like crazy = sky just opened up !!!!!!! Is March 3rd opening day of @Flyinfool and saddlebum season???????????????????? I would make sure that when I did so that I attached the winch to a "D" ring that was secured with bolts to the frame under the trailer.. I would also purchase a wheel chock just like this:https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Motorcycle-Stand-Wheel-Chock-Adjustable-Upright-1800lb-Capacity-Support/112163869587?hash=item1a1d7cd393:g:2cQAAOSwzaJX~KFju I would take the eyelets on the outriggers off and I would cut some PVC "wheels" for the outrigger arms - I would cut them long enough that they would go from the eyelet holes to the point where the wheel would just touch the weld where the outrigger meets the upright = nice and wide but still loosely fitting so it can roll between the eyelets and the upright.. I would use a tight fitting PVC tube over the outrigger arm and then another larger PVC wheel over the top of it so I created a sort of bushing wheel if you will.. I would now leave the bottom outrigger "pads off" but would reattach the eyelets and I would do so so the eyelet bolt/nut was contained inside of the outrigger arm.. Looking at the wheel chock in the picture in the link, it might not be totally necessary but I would probably take a set of the rear ward holes that are used for the rear "flipper" on the chock and I would put a bolt back there thru those holes with a PVC bearing type roller mounted on it too,, sort of like a toilet paper roller thing.. I would also attach a pulling lug on the front of the chock. With the chock sitting outwardly on the ground in front of the loading gate of my toyhauler, I would back my bike onto it and attach ratcheting tie down straps on the saddle bag guards of the bike and into the eyelets. Suck the bike up with the straps to its upright. Hit the button on the winch and roll the chocked bike up the ramp, stop right before the back of the chock meets the edge of the ramp where you will see a gap formed now between the chock and the ground. Drop in the rear pvc wheel, hit the winch and pull the bike in. Leave bike in the winch and chock for travel but secure with tie downs on to "D" rings.. When ready to unload, leave chock attached to winch, unhook bike and ride out By the way,, IMHO,, finding a high spot or even a curb to load/unload on will help = anytime you can get your ramp at a lesser angle is better..

I loved riding Frisco,, while not as easy to navigate around the city on a bike as Manhatten is because of how NYC is laid out, Frisco does have a certain roller coaster rider appeal.. IMHO,, crossing the Golden Gate then the up to "1" from Frisco,, thru Bodega Bay and then up to Stewards Point, then east on Skaggs Springs Road thru the Red Woods over to Geyserville is one of our countrys most amazing tours..

This got missed too = when your cousin overfills his 1100 Virago at a gas station while CTFW out in California, pulls up beside you and in a panic striken voice and asks what he should do about the fuel now running out from under the gas cap of his bike. After advising him to just tip the bike over a little and drain some gas out onto the ground to which he says "help me, I cant do that with all this camping gear on it" - so you balance your fully loaded 1st Gen between your legs, reach over and grab his bikes left grip to lean the Virago down and drain gas out of it before you realize the pavement under both bikes is soaked with fuel causing a slippery mess and making it very easy for both of you to slip and fall and end up trapped between two fully packed motorcycles....

Because my passion for bikes borders on the insanity level, I have been following the new Wings development and release with a HUGE amount of enthusiasm, been over on the Wing forum about it in comparison to the '32's (the new one is an 1833cc so I call the old one a '32,,,, that said and just being upfront - if I ended up with one of the new ones I will be naming calling it "33" ) and even just got to sit on one as it was being put together in the back room of our local Honda shop and I gotta say = WOWZY WOW WOW WOW!!! That said,, I can honestly say that if part of the concern of swapping into a new bike has anything to do with the weight of the bike causing issues because of knee weakness or whatever = Sky,, you GOTTA go sit on one of these new ones!!!!! TALK ABOUT LITE AND NIMBLE FEELING!!! Coming up off the side stand = felt like a bicycle compared to my 1st Gens - UNREAL!! For all the new release bikes that we have test rode and looked at - IMHO,, Honda is the only one who, thru RnD - investment - being willing to step out and make some huge improvements by using technology for something other than electronic gadgets actually earned the right to hang a $27,000 price tag on a motorcycle.. It's neither here nor there probably Sky and actually none of my business but cause I love ya as a brother I think I will share something about the '32's (even the O6 like you are looking at).. This is just coming from following the release of the new one and something I learned along the way.. Apparently Mom Honda made a slight engineering mistake on the '32's by placing the gear drive for the alternator inside of the engine cover so if it fails = huge job.. This part is known as the ADG and, on the pre 06's it was mechanical and had a high rate of failure.. 06's up to 17's had an updated version of the drive that apparently consists of rubber or something making them less vulnerable to breakage BUT - even those are known to fail.. Keep in mind that a failure of that little drive gear constitutes removal of the engine = sounds like 3 grand of work easily.. If I were looking at one I would cover my butt with a 1500 dollar discount offer (50/50 split of repair) on the bike unless the owner/seller could produce verification of a recent update.. Another thought,,, I think @TheTooch is now riding a CTX1300.. I mention this because while playing around at another dealership I noticed they had brand new left over CTX1300's for 10k and after talking to the sales manager there - I have a hunch one of those brand new left overs could be had for a lot less if cash was involved.. If we can get Daves attention here, maybe he could give us some thoughts on that bike

Hearing of the loss in your family of someone so young and precious is breaking our hearts Lewis. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out for and to each one of you as you reach to our Lord and each other for comfort and understanding.. Puc n Tip Though your time below was very short, at least it seems that way. Our Heavenly Father thought it best, to call you home today. The pain we feel and sorrows deep, that lay heavy in each heart. Are a tribute to our love for you, what you meant to us from the start. Your smiling face and gentle touch, brought sunshine to each hour. You gave us hope and instilled faith, in God's true love and power. Cole, it's hard for us to understand, yes we're all asking why, Your presence was required now, at your home up in the sky. But this we know by what we saw in you, with all you said and done. We each look forward to your tenderness again, when our work below is done. Rest In Peace Cole Larson.

And I would LOVE to hang a tent on one Ty!!!! The new Wing no longer has a trunk,,, the Goldwing is now a "bagger" and is what I am sitting on.. The "Goldwing Tour" is the new one with the trunk included... Another thing I always liked about the old MK1 1st Gens = click click, no trunk = instant bagger... Harley sells a docking plate and hardware to make their touring bikes like the Ultra Limited (helped install one last year) interchangeable from Tourer to Bagger and I wish all of the tourers came stock with it cause having your cake and eating it too is usually a very nice thing..

Yesterday I had the pleasure of stopping in and visiting with the guys in the shop of our local Metric dealership as they were putting together one of the new Wings.. Tippy held her ears and complained a little as one of the mechanics downstream in the shop bounced a CR125 off its rev limiter a couple times while tuning the little screamer - I just smiled at her and breathed in deeply to let some of the sweet smell of burning 2 stroke oil fill my lungs and soul once again - awesome memories of days long gone bye. Some brief but fun chatter took place amongst us all as I commented about the complexities of all the modern technology sitting between the bars on the new Wing and I asked the "kids" working on the dirt bikes if anything had changed in the maintenance schedules of the modern day CRF450R's... They all glared at me with evil eyes when I quoted the original Honda factory top end job requirements of that pancake pistoned, Titanium valved motor back when it first came out at "15 hour" intervals.. To my surprise, those guys in the backroom had never heard that and looked suspiciously at the old geezer in the HD hat as he assured them what he was saying was, in fact, the truth.. I also just participated in a conversation here in the club house about the battery probe that came with our 1st Gens... As I wrote a message of where to find a 3k ohm resistor to bypass that probe the thought ran thru my mind of wondering just how many folks nowadays actually know the factory spec on battery probe maintenance.... I couldnt help be wonder if any of my fellow club members would have that same look on their faces as those young mechanics had at the dealership yesterday if they knew that the factory spec on battery probe maintenance is every 3000 miles... So what does all this mean??? Well,, looking at all the new bikes and all the new techology that has come out,,, couple that with all the technology of days passed and the maintenance associated with all of it,,,,,, sort of somehow makes me wonder just how much actual riding we are suppose to get in after all the figuring stuff out and maintaining things is done.... Not to sound judgemental and maybe it's just me getting old or something but sometimes I really do urn for the good old days before answering the telephone inside of a motorcycle helmet was even possible.. A simpler time,, for simpler minds I guess... Oh,, and before one of you lop eared smarty pants buddies of mine varmints makes a comment like "what has this song got to do with bikes Puc?" = ya best watch closely for the lane splitten herein!!
-
Are my eyes deceiving me or is that a SuperTrapp exhaust on that sweetheart?? If it is,, just a quick F.Y.I. here Boss,,, dont even think of lane splitting on "99" out near Elk Grove in California on that thing = I am absolutely positively sure that the motorcycle LEO that rules over that area would NEVER allow that aftermarket exhaust to pass thru...

,,,, thinkin out loud here but I think "Bobs" should be posted in the Az National Park brochure!!! Yep,, as in all things from fully accesorized new touring bikes all the way down to teeny little electronic components, internet sales has greatly impacted both large chain stores and mom/pop brick n mortars alike... Rollin with the flow..... New Venture Pricing

Stopped in at our local dealership to sneak in the backroom and get peek at the Wing the boys were putting together and noticed the sign on the new Venture sitting in the showroom...
