Hey Sly,,, last time I washed our car was in the pouring rain - worked great!! Just take some of that car wash soap, dump it over the car while setting in the rain,,, smear it around a little with the hand,,, then I took my garage broom and scrubbed the grime off!!!! FREE RINSE and get this,, most high end car washes around here advertise using "Soft like rain water" as a rinse so I got a free high end car wash out my invention!

This is exactly the reason that I drop my tools, lock the doors and grab EVERY bit CTFW in the sunshine and warmth that I can, when I can, how I can,,,,,,,,,, never ever ever ever trust weather forcasts and all that nonsense - JUST GET OUT AND RIDE!! Of course,,, living with that infernal turbo charged White Washer aimed at my house 24/7 maybe has made me a little overly sensitive to weather patterns and forecasters in general ... Prayers Up for all you lop eared varmints having to deal with that mess down yonder!! Stay safe!!

After pulling into Hesperia Michigan on the ride, I decided to take a rip on another path to get in front of the group to see if I could get a full video of everyone who attended on their bikes = IT WORKED!!!!

Riding next to another one of Glennies friends in during the ride!! Not all of Glens buddies were youngens,, some of us biker geezers also loved hanging out with Glenny!!!

In this video, we head out for the actual Glen Rocky ride.. Glen would be so proud to know how much he was loved and missed!!

I rode hard and made it back to Michigan from Canada just in time to make our 7th annual Glenn Rocky Memorial ride!! Glenny was a friend of mine of which he had MANY!!! GREAT TURN OUT!!!!

[h=1]Pt 7, 2018 MarCarls VentureIn, VentureRider.org MC Canadian Motorcycle Rally[/h] People often ask me why I carry No compass, No GPS, No Maps and, many times my reply will be that I have found that having to stop and talk to the local citizens for directions often pays big dividends. Here is perfect example of what I am referring to in action!!!I had my own private escort once I left the group back in Pellham (think this was the name of the town). Sticky and his side kick in the side hack offered to show me the way to go home and their directions were spot on!!THANK YOU STICKY!!

[h=1]Pt 6, 2018 MarCarls VentureIn, VentureRider.org MC Canadian Motorcycle Rally[/h] It is said that all good things have to come to an end and my time of seeing friends of old, making new ones and exploring the beautiful country of Canada became no exception to the rule. Saying goodbye is always hard for me and the closeness one develops thru sharing times like these with people of this caliber makes doing so even harder. People like Dogman and his wife Bernie who will open their homes and hearts to a drifter from Michigan contribute greatly to this difficulty but so do the many many brothers/sisters/friends who also shared in making this such a special time of life. [h=1]Pt 5, 2018 MarCarls VentureIn, VentureRider.org MC Canadian Motorcycle Rally[/h] This is a short video example of a Canuckian after lunch ride thru their homelands gorgeous country side. We rode on top of the "escarpment" that this area is known for. During this ride some slippery stuff that looked a little like Spider Manure to me appeared on the roadway and, after we stopped at the end of the ride I found out that my thoughts on what the substance may have been were not that far off. [h=1]Pt 3, 2018 MarCarl's VentureIn, VentureRider.org MC Canadian Motorcycle Rally[/h] Due to some unforeseen problems, the usual person(s) (our club members and dear friends of mine, "MarCarl" and his wife) who normally host this awesome event were unable to do so this year. Another dear friend and brother of mine, Dogman and his precious wife Bernie decided to pick up the slack and host the event!!! After arriving at the Dogman family residence, it took some pretty deep discussion and a lot of time (didnt hit the sack until after 2 a.m. - it was SOOOO wonderful seeing my friend again and meeting his precious Wife - THANK YOU again Mr. and Mrs. Dogman for such great hospitality and for EVERYTHING!!) but I finally got an answer to the timeless question of whether or not Dogmans Dogs will tinkle on a tent wall!!! YES,,,,, but ONLY if Dogman tells em too!! In the course of finding this out, I did uncover something else though that is even more puzzling,, I found out out that Dogman actually talks to his dogs and they speak back to him.. Sort of Dr. Doolittle thing going on there!!!!! Club secret!!

Thankfully you are in the financial situation where you are good to go with keeping things straight with HFS while this whole thing works itself out.. IMHO,, it is absoluely appalling that a company could have so much disregard and disrespect for a person who came to them as a customer that they could care less for that persons credit standing.. Got Char looking WOWZY WOW WOW WOW there Yamster!!! Thank you for the ride report and pics,, enjoyed the ride along!! You mentioned roadwork,,, thinking of possibly headed to Dogmans in Gimsby for that Rally (to bad Chars going in for a health check,, would LOVED to have met the two of you there). If we are able to go, we will come over on 403 to the Lincoln Alexander and hook a right,, over to the Red Hill Valley PKway and hook a left, up to QEW and hook a right and over to Gimsby.. Any thoughts on road conditions along that trail?

Tip and I were out in Needles California,, temps pushin 110ish.. I had just swapped in some new oil and left that little plastic cover that goes over the oil fill sitting on the curb.. We went about 50 miles and catching some pretty good desert winds blowing that hot oven like air across the scoot when Tip says "my right foot is getting cooked!!".. Looked down and sure enough,,, guard is gone... Went back and got it,,, definitely that important IMHO..
