  7. My bad Cha,, I should have been more specific,, yep,, .22 caliber pellets - if you look at the pics I posted you can see a tin of them laying on the lazy susan on the table.. Funny thing,,, that little chewin tobacco size tin has 500 rounds in it - figure all the pumping a guys gotta do to go thru that many shooters and WOWZY - thats a fair amount of fun LOL
  8. Absolutely positively SPOT ON Sly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am TOTALLY trackin with ya my brother!!
  9. The Code, U.F.R. (unwritten forum rules) and even common decency to your fellow lop eared varmints dictate that,,,,, ohhh,, never mind,, you know the code as well as I do Sly....
  10. GETS MY VOTE!!! IMHO,, THAT is awesome!!!!!
  11. No ya lop eared cross country riding specialist varmint,,,, no fried chicken,, fried chicken cant be free cause some clucky lookin critter gave its life for it,,, nahhhhh,,,,,,, got check out post 12 and you will see that I wasn't referring to fried chicken
  12. pretty cool ol shooter .. Says its been sitting in his closet for years, it doesnt work and tells me it's mine if I want it.. Yep,,,, she'd still pump but she definitely would hold no air... Checked out Ebay,,, found a guy selling (2) sets of seals for 5 bucks,,, figured he must know me and that it would probably take me 2 sets of seals to get the thing back together once I tore it apart so I ordered em.. The seals were in the mail when we got home from touring our west coast last night so I ripped er apart and at 1:16 A.M. today,,, my new little .22 caliber air shooter went "POOF" for the first time in many years!!! Left it over night with 2 pumps in her and NICE = held air all night!! Pumped her up to 10 pumps and WOWZY,, not bad for a freebie!!! Of course,, nutting ever goes exactly as planned (Murph even LOVES playin with BB guns and he and I managed to break the top off the screw that holds the rear site because I didnt know the screw actually threaded into the screw that held the reciever on (drilled and tapped right into the end of that screw).. Wonder if Ace will have something so tiny (pic of screw shank between my fingers) or if the local gun smith will or if I will have to spend hours and hours and hours online trying to find a Crosman dealer who has been in the business since the mid 50's when they started making these little shooters,,,,, could get even more interesting!! My neighbor said he also has a couple old bb revolver shooters he is gonna give me when he finds em.... Think I will go set up my tent at the end of his driveway
  13. I have one those that I have used, on occasion for hauling and can attest that they do work well.. I am still wondering though,,, is the oil level site window on a second gen located in a different location on the engine case than on a 1st Gen??
  14. While being a full fledged supporter of the "nothings free in water world" as yourself Silv,, as shown in the attached vid at 1:18 on the timeline by the biker on the blue Harley bagger - I was actually given yet another free bird:rasberry: and I can tell you that in my latter years I seem to be getting quite a collection of them at NO charge to myself!! Yea but,,,, IMHO,,, neither Kate nor Edith are gonna work for free, at least those Edith's and Kates who are south of your border IMHO.. Oh,, by the way,,,, it's not we who are on the south side of the border who have funny speaks,,, that would rest with those on the northern side of that border,,, eh
  15. It always amazes me how each of us can look at the same situation, screen name, saying or whatever and come up with totally different opinions of what exactly is being said.. When read "Free" "Bird", I read that as someone is gonna give us something for free and it isnt necessarily our monthly dues :crackup::crackup:
  16. If we were playing the old "guess what this is" game my guess would be that a balance shaft snapped and tried to escape thru the case...
  17. IMHO, You have to admire the motorcycle community for their Patriotism, even today's rainy weather could not keep those true Patriots from supporting the memorialization of those who had given it all in defense of our way of life!!!! Let Freedom ring!!
  18. Sounds like FUN stuff!!! I would LOVE to have access to what ever it was you were using back in the day Sky!! Speaking of carb cleaner,, do you remember the spray carb cleaners of yesteryear before this declorination (or what ever its called) started?? I remember this stuff you could by at the Auto Shops that would burn like crazy if ya got it on your fingers,, Yellow can with Red writing on it,,, and VERY inexpensive (50 cents a can) and WOWZY WOW WOW WOW,, compared to todays modern day stuff,,, that stuff made the "new" stuff seem like water... Just thought of another one,,, many years ago when I was a teenager I was standing in the backroom of our local Yamaha shop and watched a mechanic heat the bowl of the carb on the bike with his cigarette lighter.. Whatever he had injected into the carb, he was bringing it to a boil with his lighter and said that he was cleaning the jets.. No idea what he was boiling but apparently it worked well...... Ohhhh the memories... Hey @MiCarl ,, any idea of what that Yam Mechanic may have been using?
  19. I was just thinking here,,, as long as we're all back on the subject of which Generation is fastest,, Gen 1 or Gen 2,,, IMHO - it may be interesting if someone were to ask @videoarizona if he has any input into this discussion.... I would ask him but I am afraid he might think I was trying to start something or something:mugshot: ...
  20. Try this,,, stuff works extremely well for a non-Military, non-Prescription, over the counter carb cleaner upper!!! Fun to play with too - let a 1 inch oring soak over night in it and the next morning it will be 3 inches in diameter and look like a donut https://www.ebay.com/itm/Berryman-Carb-Cleaner-Carburetor-And-Part-Cleaner-Chem-Dip-0-75-Gallons-Cleaning/253470755305?hash=item3b0408c9e9:g:FgoAAOSwUWZanjXQ
  21. 1st things first K,,,, :group cheers: Glad you found us!!!!! While I am personally not one to get to excited about motorcycles and the HOURS AND HOURS OF OUTSTANDING JOY THEY BRING INTO OUR LIVES,,,, this thought just popped into my mind of something you might try if the suspense in waiting for your new born gets to heavy on your heart... Maybe you could give us the low down on your Beemer?? How many miles,, how has the notorious maintenance schedules been,, does it FLY,,, how long ya had it,,,,, got any 's you wanna share??? Stuff like that.... Congrats on the new bike soon to arrive in your garage!!! Puc
  22. OUTSTANDING ECKSTER!!!! I will DEFINITELY give them a shot!!!!!!
  23. ,,,,:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh: , maybe the person driving the rig found it easier to load the Uhaul by laying it on its side and just forgot to tip it back up on it's wheels before heading down the road??
  24. Maybe cause Cha said his scoot didnt pick up it's case of high speed shakes until he stuck the new shoe on its front end Unc:missingtooth:
