  1. No words can express the loss or feelings we all sharing right now. All the best to you Sherry and your family. We are praying you find the strength to get by each day. What a sad day.
  2. Sad indeed. We hope the many pleasant memories will keep you going. I still think of my grandma with awe, love and respect....those older folks worked pretty hard to get by, way back.
  3. I know (sigh)....they didnt give me that option.....16. UPS or 46. UPS Express or something... If I had USPS I would have taken it. So much for the good deal I had got. But I got it on the helmet already and it works great! BTW I bought two headsets. Two hundred bucks for em both....maybe in the long run its not so bad....they are well over 200 here from Yammi.for one. BIG SORRY FOR THE HIGHJACK guys!
  4. Wow you are good Don! Just got my headsets today from wingthings took a hard hit in brokerage fees 59 bucks!! Dont use UPS Canadians!!!
  5. Have you contacted edsets? They might make something for you.
  6. Hey Scott There will be many sets in July if you can wait that long! Sorry to be a smart butt.
  7. J+M might have what you need or Edsets may make something if they dont have it.
  8. When young....could go all day but for gas stops. Now...I do look forward to gas stops to get my fat butt off the seat. Usually though after a couple months riding season the butt is "trained" and the rides dont feel so long. I sure like the stops for gas...chance to stretch, walk a bit and generally sort of unwind a bit. Its about the ride and not the speed I get there...for me anyway.
  9. Breaking news of tragic shooting at a Virgina school. Our thoughts are with all the victims and their families. What a dark day.
  10. Hmm....I believe the trailer I have...bought from StevieMac....way back, has the moon caps from there and he bought a fancy set (not moons) for his camper. He did mention having to do some mods on those as the axle came out a little far. I originally posted that link from StevieMac and am truly sorry if I wasted your time and money.
  11. Got mine from Owl as well. Works slick as poop through a goose!
  12. Sort of....bout an inch or so...at least my 89 does. It looks funny when the seat is pushed all the way back...you can really see it from where the seat meets the false gas tank cover.
  13. Ron and Linda You know all of our hearts are with you guys. So sorry to hear this bad news. All the best to your family.
  14. Wow...that is terrible news! We are so sorry for your loss Allan! You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I hope your cherished memories will help you through this time.

    Clock?

Lol...I've heard of dealers tell guys that there is no clock on these bikes and others who have no idea how to make it show up!
  16. Just got a XM Delphi MYFI for Marilyn for sweethearts day. Complete kit including home kit, auto kit, and other stuff. This is a portable unit that she can use like a walkman as well. I will replace her MP3 player as she drives on her bike at least until I can afford the cb system. Total cost after rebates...not including tax...149. bucks Canadian! Good deal...they are close to 350 normally here. Whadya all think!
  17. Running LED should work fine. I was wondering though, if you are going to need an adaptor to increase the resistance to the led's to make em work right. Someone will clear that up soon enough, after supper is done. I would think just straight splice would be good but it is always recommended to splice and solder to do the job right. BTW, very nice job...it looks great!
  18. Hey Craig! Whaddya do with my trailer!!!
  19. My bud has em on his Indian...they sound good but too loud for my taste.
  20. What did they do at the service....I truly dont know and am not trying to be smart. Could be a stuck float.
  21. Well just for a quick look see to check out if it is in KM 1 mile is about 1.6km 10 miles would be 16km give or take a hundred yards or so. This is a rough check for you if you know a set distance. Also on the face of the speedo the MPH numbers will be larger and KMPH will be under and smaller. 60 mph is around 100km per hour. 55 is roughly 90km per hour. 40 is 60km 30 is 50km
  22. Jeees...I feel bad for your luck! Brandy new bike and all.... Well I guess it should go back to the dealer and get a new one. Perhaps have them check to make sure everything in that area are up to snuff. Really, I dont think this is the bikes fault...it may have happened in the assembly of the bike...bad things have happened with inexperienced "kids" putting the bikes together.
  23. I believe its the PC 680.
  24. Nice job!
  25. If thats the set up I thinking about, you should be able to drive over and do the seat swap at his place! You both west coasters...I think he is in Abbortsford.
