We have just put RSTD bars on Marilyns new to her vstar. I want to get her Kuryakin ISO grips with the wrist thingy. What is the number for this item. I have searched for it and can only find the grip but not both together. Am I a dummy.....wait don't answer that!! But if you can help that would be great.

Sure do. But usually for a fair bit more. We probably saved at least a grand after all the costs are done.

Brian Marilyn is my wife and Courtney is our daughter. She bought Lewis' (Dragonrider) 1300 vstar. They flew into Atlanta Monday and drove the bike back home.

You are welcome Lewis and thanks for looking after Marilyn and Courtney and all the pain in the butt details that cropped up. The bike averaged 47 miles to the gallon. Not bad me thinks.

The eagle and eaglet have landed! I met them in Dunseith so I could carry those fancy bars and the other stuff Lewis sent via mail. No issues at all crossing the border. Got a good one who was very understanding about me having half the bike in a box in the trunk of the suv! 1980 miles total trip...a little more than 200 miles further than Marilyn figured but there was those little side trips thanks to gps. Courtney did not make the whole trip! She wimped at the border and decided she wanted to drive the suv home. She is in training for her license. I still have some hair and its not all grey...so she did a good job.

We got caught in the rain/hail right after we checked into the hotel. Was heading out for supper came down with vengence. Sitting having supper, chipped a tooth. Didn't have that problem at Lewis's: Monty's or Bubber's. And Monty we are usually not breakfast people, you did a lot more for me as it was. Running around trying to find me handle bars and risers. All laundry in one load, was sure I trained you better must need more training. Can't get rid of you yet.

Whatever fuse a cigarette lighter uses...15 amp?? That is a cigarette lighter not just a accessory plug in. I did mine with a 15 amp so I wont blow the thing using compressor. But a small flat fuse block and it will fit right under your seat by the battery. Sure makes accessory adding neater and easier.

For the cruise try this push set then immediatly push the button to resume....down/up. I found this works well.

I used that dump it all in one load trick...works! Marilyn will not make supper at your place. She said it looks like 8 ish or so.

Mine too....best thing is those springs. I had a heck of a time getting the caps back on! Two guys leaning into it whilst trying to get those fine threads lined up...dang it was two beers work at least!

She said they kind of followed one that dumped a pile of rain on the road ahead of them. So far so good.

I just got off the phone with Marilyn. Much better day today. The adjustments worked well and she is also getting used to the weight of the bike. I mentioned that our Courtney is also much bigger than she used to be and that would take some getting used to on the bike as well. Bubber.....she is heading your way if you want. She will stay the night with you if you guys are there. Her plans now are for three more days....no rush....get home Saturday works just as well as friday and a more relaxing ride for them. Russell if you are reading this.....she would be interested in hooking up for coffee if you are around. She is likely going around the east side and through St.Paul I guess.

Trouble with reaching the handlebars properly. Readjusted at Monty's. Waiting to talk with her tonight. They have made it to Beardstown, Ill. Hotel people said they have gone for a bite to eat.
