  1. Well, if I could have found a 450 at that price I would have been all over like a fat kid on a chocolate bar! I just bought a nuvi 755t for slightly less. The zumo is made for the bike, personally I would take it. It lacks the blue tooth but to me that dont matter.
  2. Sorry to hear Brad. They do have a way of butting into our lives dont they. Not the same as a dog but....
  3. My sometimes co-pilot is 12. She mostly rides behind her Mom though as her bike has armrests fitted cause she sleeps almost as soon as we leave the drive-way. Got some armrests from BrakePad and hope to figure out how to get those on my bike. Courtney has been riding with us since I got a bike almost 5 years ago. My other co-pilot is 16 and when on long trips he rides with me all the time as he is a little big for hanging out behind Mom! Does that count?
  4. Wow that is terrible news. We are going to miss her on here for a bit. Prayers for a speedy recovery....listen to the doc Annie!
  5. You taught her to read!!!??? Congrats both of you. It will be nice to see you both again this summer if she dont throw you into the pond with ceeement boots on!
  6. You got that right Don!!
  7. We'll be in Wisconsin at the end of March picking up our new bike camper from Rolla Home. I can remember what town he is in. But it will be a nice trip....gotta cage it though as March is not biking weather here!
  8. Here are ours from the summer trip to Arkansas Ralley and Tail of the Dragon. What a great holiday it was! Me, Marilyn, son Tyson and daughter Courtney.
  9. Yippeee, that is great news Steve! We are sure glad for you. As another poster mentioned...did you check to see if you are working labor day yet? Take care.
  10. Hi Steve! What exactly does a quality manager do? How much do you know about the company and how will them hiring you contribute to thier bottom line? Have you told them this yet? Those that know you know that you are a great guy. One of the hardest thing is to promote oneself without coming across as conceted or arogant. I think the fact that they've called you back is great news. Fingers and toes crossing for luck and prayers for some serious help coming your way.

    Tinnitus

The military is paying for my hearaids for this Rick. Too many gun shots and riding around in tracked armoured vehicles in my day. Mine sounds like.....do you remember the old tv test sound or the sound the tv used to make when the station went off air?
  12. Good on ya Annie! I'm glad the stuff stayed on for you! I had visions of it wrapped around your head and trailing behind you!
  13. What exactly is a cold snap down there Condor!? We are having one here right now...its a balmy -30 C with a wind chill that makes it feel like -47C. One week....one lousy week and we will be sipping fruity little drinks on the beach in Punta Cana!!!!!
  14. Lol...when we are moving that trailer is so packed with stuff nothing slides in any direction. Ask someone who has seen the stuff we bring along with us to the ralley's! Maybe the spray on will work on the bed.....I hear you Condor...but I still wonder.
  15. I have a piggy backer and I would think that stuff would crack pretty quickly as the box is just too flexible.
  16. All the best to both of you Renne. Her ordeal is over and she is at peace again...small consilation (sp) I know.
  17. Ya I saw the grass too! Cant see much here. That is a colorful bike for sure. You have got to let us know if that stuff stays where its supposed to!
  18. My first trailer had 8 inch wheels and pulled just fine at highway speed. I firmly believe that the speed rating is put there as a disclaimer to cover their butts. Take care of the bearings and you should have no problems. Our piggy backer and bunkhouse has 12 inch wheels. They seem to pull easier but that could be my imagination. Again, taking care of the bearings is a must anyway. Also important is how you load the thing. Keep the tongue weight up a little so you wont get wagging and dont overload.....it makes it hard to stop!
  19. Not sure but I think you need more amperage. The thing is only a 5 amp fuse in there and the wires might not be big enough. Check out the tech section on wiring passing lamps. I wired mine straight from the battery using a relay. I found a constant (with key on) power source under the seat and used this to trigger the relay. My passing lamps are on all the time, I never did install the switch just bypassed it.
  20. I was shocked to see this earlier while at work. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the officers. What a shame.
  21. Nice site. I will likely buy something from you as well sometime in the next while. I was trying to find moly60 grease. I cant seem to get it here in Manitoba.
  22. Well CJ...I am of course not a State Trooper! But, I do admire your goal and also that you have to be the youngest person driving a "old mans" bike. Checking you pics....is that thing running now or are you still pushing it around? Nice bike.
  23. This wish comes from our family and Pete and Hazel in Sask. You remember Pete....he is coming along slowly he says but is having trouble logging on so he emailed us to pass his wishes to you folks. We all have lots to be thankful for.....
  24. This is a shock for sure. Thanks for letting us know Don.
  25. All the best to Charlene, Lewis! I'll bet after its all said and done she will be wondering why it hasnt happened long ago! Best start taking cooking lessons!
