Good news Dan. I was a wondering what was up there, just figured no news was good.

Looks great! I didnt think I would like a trailer either...turns out I do. It allows us the room to carry all that we need without cramming or worrying about creative packing. It sure has made our long trips more comfortable. They usually handle very well. The one you have looks alot like my first one and was great behind my 1 st gen.

That is great news Brad....for both of you! Way to go for those whom have helped out in their endeavour as well. You guys did a brave thing, we are happy that things should be turning around.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Randy. We wish nothing but good things for all of you.

My first memory is when we lived at Great Bear Lake in the North West Territories. I was running from my Dad over some very rocky Canadian Shield type terrain and got my foot stuck in a crack...he caught me and I giggled like only a kid can! Another good memory from that time is riding in the front of his 16' fishing skiff pounding over the waves.

Most of you have some impressive lists there! Mine is somewhat shorter to say the least. 81 Honda CB750 Custom 83 Venture Royale (1 of 10 in BC) 89 Venture Royale 05 Midnight Venture 07 RSV blue Old girlfriend had a 360 Honda in Germany...what a blast! Marilyn 1100 virago 1100 vstar custom she is now looking around for a Raider!

That is too bad for sure. But this is not for everyone I guess. Our daughter loves to ride and she will ride with anybody willing to take her along! Just ask a couple members here whom she has wrapped around her little finger and finangled her way onto thier bike for a full day riding....right Hal. Our son also likes to ride and its about the only time its ok to be seen with his parents!

Excellent news...dont worry about the cap locks, most of us cant type with two hands never mind one! Glad the surgery went well...listen and do what the docs say...you wont regret their advice.

At least its not 1600 like we pay here!

I dont have a picture but if you look on the left side between the seats you will see a rubber plug. I pulled this plug and mounted a lighter right there. Hard wired it to an accessory fuse box I had installed. It is not the easiest to get to until you are used to it. But with practise and if you arms are long enough it works great. Make sure to get a weather proof one if you can as it will get wet in there.

Guess who is looking for a new bike again!? Nope, not me this time! Marilyn has had her eye on the Raider ever since she sat on one last year. Loves it....red with flames. Does anyone have any report on them? I have checked a little into their site but it didnt help me much. Also does anyone know of a good deal on one? And you know we will drive a long way to get a good deal! Craiglook has several and one in Sherman TX looks really nice and loaded as well! But I checked the dealer site and its not listed there anymore so I assume its gone.

Congrats Charlie. I was wondering why all the questions to us that went to 2nd gens after owning 1st gens. And, yes we are sorry to hear of the other issue or maybe we should be happy for you?

What a game!!! Of course I am happy for our team. What I really wanted though was a great game between two great teams. I didnt want to see our team or the US team get blown out. It was a fitting finish and the US team has nothing to be ashamed of, nor would have our guys if the tides were turned. Congrats on the US winning the silver...no slouch there either!

Procrastination Caught Up With Me - Need a Stock Seat
sarges46 replied to RedRider's topic in Watering Hole
I might be able to help you out Jeff. We are coming to Wisconsin at the end of March to pick up our new Rolla Home camper. It is in Port Washington, would that be nearby? We are travelling from Manitoba probably through Minneapolis and eastward. I have a pretty much brandy new seat set up that sits in my shed because I am using a corbin. If it works I could let you borrow it until you are ready to return it. You would have to get it to either Russell (BlackOwl) or Grandpagak and I will collect it back in the fall or this summer on our way back from the international meet. -
Height would be up to you and whether you like to look through or over. Nothing more annoying than the top of the screen right at eye level.

Yep, we did...or should I say Marilyn rode it and I duck walked it from one end to the other and back again.

Check out the clearview screen. They have a nice one with a vent. Its a little thicker and stronger than stock. (Unless you fall over like me and smash the dang thing!) Buying from Yammi Canada will cost you three times as much as a new clearview.

That is terrible for anyone and mostly for so young. Leaving little ones are tough as well. Prayers to you and all your family Dick.

Man that sucks! Sorry to hear it and hope you are feeling better soon.

Congrats to all. We are very happy for the outcome so far for you guys! Let the spoiling begin!

Before I get fried....I would have one of each if I could afford to! Since I cant I will take the newest versious of old technology and be comfortable on those long trips.
