Try www.valueaccessories.net they are great...and I mean great to do business with. I ordered a pair of arm rests for Marilyns vstar. They discovered a error in shipping and the correct piece was here before the original item arrived! And they let us keep the incorrect part. Fast shipping too...about 7 days to Canada.

Fill the tank and put either seafoam or stabil in it. Get wheels off the concrete, take battery out (it will freeze this part of the country). Thats about it.

Here's a couple if you can make em out. Its snowing/raining now so I wont be taking the cover off to get a real good shot. I can do that later on if required. -

Well, thats good news! It is tougher I agree. The bent parts are easy to fix..but that fairing...that would be a whole new hill to climb for this non wrencher! Glad it held up. -

I have em on my bike. No issues..but I do dread the day I drop my ol'girl. That area will take a bad hit for sure. They are well worth it to have though. -
Try Rick at www.buckeyeperformance.com , He has all the parts you need and carries the steel cables made for the 1st gens. Good to deal with too.

While enjoying the wonderful sites this time of year...please please remember to watch your footing as well. Those leaves laying around are plenty slippery!

Sorry to hear about your friend. That is one cruel disease. It sure sounds like you have some good memories to share with his kids every now and then and remember the good times.

Which bike we talking...i'm thinking 2nd gen. For what I know about electrical you could write on a sheet of tp. But, I wouldnt think it is too hard with correct instructions...someone here will have those.

I will pass on what Squidly was mentioning at Pork in the Pines. He and Lonna were almost done their marathon ride....many many miles. He said that he is probably going to change from XM to Sirius because XM got to be like a broken record......they kept hearing the same songs again and again. Like he said if he wanted that type of performance he shouldnt have to pay for it. That doesnt mean that Sirius is any better but it is one experiance from along distance rider using the XM.

Rear Cargo Trunk from RSV to Royal Star
sarges46 replied to newman's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Salty bought a RSV and did an amazing job of making a quick disconnect to remove the trunk. He has the best of both worlds. I notice that he is not a member here since the crash...but he can be found on the venturers site, I think. Same name. -
I have no idea...but I am going to be a greedy "ambulance" chaser!!! I would be interested in the trunk luggage rack if you part the bike out! My bud's wife wants to get her hubby one for their bike for a Christmas gift. The lid already has the holes so I guess it would have to be a venture line rack.

Well i finally got my refund. I am a little ticked but what can I do. Avon refunded me the cost of the original tire I bought in Sturgis....$111.00 canadian. I paid 90 US then had to pay 190 for a new one here to replace the one that cracked. I guess its better than a boot in the butt with a frozen mukluk...but .....

To Swivel or Not to Swivel, That is the Question
sarges46 replied to Mean Dog's topic in Trailer Talk
I dont know any other way but the swivel hitch. It does not affect anything in opinion. I like the thought that the day I drop my bike (it will happen one day) then I wont have to worry about twisting anything.- 22 replies

Jack This spring i noticed my brand new front avon tire with this condition. I bought and had it installed at Sturgis last august. I called avon and they made me get a new one from my local dealer and have the dealer assist with the warranty. I have now just heard from my dealer that avon has agreed that there is a problem and will reimburse me. I will be going to the dealer tomorrow to see what I will get back. Original tire in sturgis 90 US and 90 for install. New tire here in Canada at my stealer...installed 230 Can. My tire was about the same year model...it wasnt old by any stretch. Avon said that this sometimes happen if the tire is exposed to unnatural products...oil, freon, ozone, antifreeze, etc , while in storage.
