Hey Miles, this is a beautiful bike you have. Just last Saturday I was in Portland talking to the father of a friend of mine, he is in his late 70's or early 80's and we were talking bikes and I never knew he used to be a rider. He was talking about an Ariel 52 he bought when he was stationed in Germany and he brought that bike back to the US. To be honest with you, I did not know more than the Ariel name at that moment. I knew these bikes existed... but that was as much as I knew. I did a google search on my I-phone and came up with a few pictures while we were talking, I showed the pictures to him, and the guy was almost in tears. He just made a comment about memories those pictures were bringing, then he pointed out: "mine was black." Thank you for sharing the pictures of your bike.
