I agree rental car or look into having some one drive back just check them out I know there are people who do that . Or check with amoving compang see if they have a truck headed that way and they can tow a trailer.

I met some one who installed 2 cd gen floorboards on a 1st gen they moved them forward and used front bolt on 1st gen and rear hole on 2cd gen floor boards and fabricated from there . I am redoing my 1st gen this winter and that is what I am trying yes 6, 8 Is tall but it is all in the inseam I am 6,3 30 inch inseam. we are all different and on this site they are as different as different comes good luck . PS lower will not work much not enough ground clearance don't ask me how I know.

I think they was used early one in cars that did not have a pressurized system and had like a 30 percent filter system. I am not that old but take an air line with 40 ibs. presser and blow at a roll of toilet paper then add oil. Question answered.

You should always use a plastic adhesion promoter over any bare plastic I prime and sand till I see no raw plastic when I finish sanding . On plastic never try to use anything coarser then 180 grit and not to skip to too high of grit. 180, 220 ,320 400 600 . this type of plastic if you get warm it releases oils from the plastic and get smeary if it does you need to start over. again I can not stress the use of adhesion promoter and time you coat anything raw.

Enjoy my 99 too much and out of my price range for a bike my wife thought was crazy spending the nearly $4000 for the bike when I drive a $2000 93 suburban.

Back in the day oil was 24 cans in a case same as pop

I an asking this question mainly for my self I have made the switch back to riding motorcycle from driving old cars . I liked low and slow when driving my old hot rods it was about the ride not the destination. Now that I am riding more on the bike then the caddy I feel just as happy at 40 mph then 60 I will state that I am blind in my rt eye and it gives more time to see the sights. To my point a 3 hr. ride can be just as enjoyable at 100 miles then the same time and 200 miles. Again I live in Iowa and not a lot off twisting roads around. I don't mind going speed limit or above to get to a certain place at a certain time but just a relaxing ride I enjoy low and slow. Welcome your thoughts am I alone:confused:

I have same feeling almost done with the Toyota I am going to cut back this summer and get some riding in. Just ordered my new stator and rectifier Monday will be here this week hope to get in soon so we can out and ride.

I was wondering if I could tow my wife's 93 Goldwing trike by the front wheel behind a truck out of gear . I think I can make a nice cradle lift to go into a receiver but don't know if it will hurt motor or transmission. Any thoughts?

I am sorry have never been to your house can you give distance from campground to your house motels . Me and my wife and 4 legged friends will be camping with a 24 foot toy hauler and did not what your place can accommodate as far as electric and or water .

Well I think I will be adding a Goldwing Trike to our stable on Saturday . It is a 93 with California trike kit and trailer we are trailing up north to Milwaukee area to pick it up only 10.000 miles.
