  1. I agree rental car or look into having some one drive back just check them out I know there are people who do that . Or check with amoving compang see if they have a truck headed that way and they can tow a trailer.
  2. Sounds like you have this just be true to yourself and do what you think is in the best interest of the company and you already know you can do this and now everyone else does to. Congratulations it just shows you that hard work does pay off once you are free to show it.
  3. I do know Mike the Diamond Cut guy has diamond cut make it look a lot better. IMHO
  4. I met some one who installed 2 cd gen floorboards on a 1st gen they moved them forward and used front bolt on 1st gen and rear hole on 2cd gen floor boards and fabricated from there . I am redoing my 1st gen this winter and that is what I am trying yes 6, 8 Is tall but it is all in the inseam I am 6,3 30 inch inseam. we are all different and on this site they are as different as different comes good luck . PS lower will not work much not enough ground clearance don't ask me how I know.
  5. I would use Easy Off oven cleaner if it has not been cleared over . Rubber removal tools can heat up quick.
  6. I think they was used early one in cars that did not have a pressurized system and had like a 30 percent filter system. I am not that old but take an air line with 40 ibs. presser and blow at a roll of toilet paper then add oil. Question answered.
  7. Sounds like side stand switch was stuck
  8. Going down there next week in cage with family have house on beach anything to do cheaply. Thanks in advance. Local diners with good comfort food, 3hr day trips or such.
  9. Never to late to ride . glad you are recovering.
  10. You should always use a plastic adhesion promoter over any bare plastic I prime and sand till I see no raw plastic when I finish sanding . On plastic never try to use anything coarser then 180 grit and not to skip to too high of grit. 180, 220 ,320 400 600 . this type of plastic if you get warm it releases oils from the plastic and get smeary if it does you need to start over. again I can not stress the use of adhesion promoter and time you coat anything raw.
  11. Enjoy my 99 too much and out of my price range for a bike my wife thought was crazy spending the nearly $4000 for the bike when I drive a $2000 93 suburban.
  12. Back in the day oil was 24 cans in a case same as pop
  13. I think it is squirrels you need to stop hiding your peanuts in there.
  14. Nice looking ride looks good without the tour pack.
