In Ontario buyers pay 13% . The amount is based on the purchase price or the vehicle’s wholesale value, whichever is greater. So if you and the seller cut a deal so you can save some money by telling the government you payed a real cheap price for it. They will check the book value and that is the tax you will pay.

Straight down is on......forward is off......straight up is resreve. The 2000 ACE is a great bike, it was my last ride....You'll enjoy her!

I like your Avatar is a Tudor Jet?! Wow talk about old systems......the last one was built in 1966. Sub-sonic, vacuum tubes and cable wires for all the controls.......and no TAPE DECK!

Odessa, just outside Kington, Ontario. Come on I read a tread the other day you told someone to "cross the boarder just east of there and take the 401 west" you sending them right by the 401 Odessa Road cut-off...

Well I figured it out and I paid my 12 bucks....I'm in! Sorry still no pictures......The city condemned the house next door to us a few years ago and it has been sitting boarded up. Well they finally torn it down this week. However the house was built right up to the property line and my privacy fence actually tied into the side of the old house. The wrecking company didn't care, they busted off 3 of the main 4x4 fence post along the rest of the fence line, at the ground. I came home yesterday to three 8' sections of my 6' fence leaning into my backyard. Spent all day today repairing it, trying to jack each section back into place and then driving steel fence posts down beside the original 4x4 to support it. And then attaching the section to the post. This was all more work then it was to build the fence in the first place....gee those section are heavy when there already assembled. Had to get it done or my dog would have gotten loose when we let him out. I threw up some old snow fence for now to cover where the old house used to be. Guess I'll be buying lumber and be building some new sections of fence next weekend. I think first the City will be getting a piece of my mind!! I never personally liked a house that was a corner lot.......now that the one next door is gone, I'm a corner lot!? What a big corner! So with the fence work I never got out on the bike at all today......I was out yesterday with a friend, he has a 2013 Harley Ultra Limited. Blew past him once in 4th gear....... He said later he couldn't believe how fast the RSV picked up speed.......but he did say it sounded like George Jestons just passed him! I've got to admit I kind of like that sound already.

I've been kind of hanging out here for awhile now but didn't feel quite right about signing onto this motley crew. You see I've been a Honda guy for 40 years. I've been ride'n a cruiser style bike the last 13 years or so.....but getting old & it was time for a little more comfort! I just can't stand the look of a Goldwing.......Sorry to the wing-dingers out there......I own a Honda Civic so I don't need another car! I love'd the idea of a Harley till I looked at the price tags! I started looking for another bike last fall and came across a 2005 RSV. But it was starting to get real cold and the bike was a long way from my place......finally Dec. 26th I took the 3 hour drive to go see it and ended up putting down the deposit to hold it till the spring. I had to sell my old bike which actually happened real fast. But it was the dead of winter, my old bike was in storage at my place, the person that bought my bike, had their old bike they had sold in storage at their place. And my new baby was 3 hours away. Then it turned into the longest winter EVER! WAITING & WAITING! I was going a little crazy waiting.....trying to pass the time of the "spring that never was"....That is when I found you guys......I was still going crazy waiting but at least I had something to do. But I felt I really wasn't one of you yet. Long story getting longer, The wife and I took the 3 hour drive out in the car yesterday to bring my baby home. What a great day for a ride, it poured rain with high winds for the last hour in Toronto rush hour traffic......best ride I ever had! I'm one of you guys now! Got to go out & clean up the new girl but sometime this weekend I'll sit down & figure out how to pay my 12 bucks......I'm in.

Could it still have been you? Blue & Black nice bike!

Very technical method of calculating all the variables that will lead you to the proper diagnosis, to determine the origin of the missing part, in question........ "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"

[Quote=Marcarl; "We can fix your bike if it's broke, and even if it's not." Between you and me.....I wasn't sure what you meant by the 2nd part of that statement, when you sent it to me...... BUT now it is all becoming very clear!
-
Ask him the question, "Where can I see the bike"? Tell him you will drive anywhere anytime to see it. You will never get a straight answer and I bet that responds you got was not really an answer to a question you did ask!

It is a scam. Do not send them any money!

Winter Storm Warning Issued at Wednesday, 10 April, 2013 3:32 PM A wintery combination of ice pellets and freezing rain on the way. Periodic rain will affect the area tonight, but a more wintery change is on the way. Colder air will arrive later tonight and coincide with an approaching low currently over Missouri. Ice pellets mixed with some snow are expected to develop on Thursday in the warned regions and generally change to freezing rain later Thursday or Thursday night. It may very well fall heavy at times. Poor travel conditions are expected over the duration of this event. In particular, the Thursday afternoon commute may be challenging with icy conditions on untreated roads. Of greater concern is the risk of widespread power outages due to downed tree limbs and power lines due to significant ice accumulation combined with northeast winds gusting to 60 km/h. There is a risk that this could be a major ice storm for an appreciable swath of Southern Ontario. It should taper off by Friday morning with temperatures rising above freezing. There is still some uncertainty as to the extent of the cold air. This will have an impact on how much falls as ice pellets versus freezing rain. Freezing rain will have a higher impact with power outages and slippery roads and sidewalks. But the expected 5 to 10 cm of ice pellets will also be problematic for travellers.

Holy Polaris! Batman, Honda is building Victory's! The Honda lineup in Canada doesn't include the 4 models they are offering in the U.S. the F6B is not one we can get here......maybe next year if sales are good enough in the U.S. Honda Canada will offer them up here. Not sure I personally like the Star Wars look. I prefer the old school cruiser look but I like it better then the straight Goldwing. Nice ride congrats! I posted this based on what the sales guy at the local Power Sport dealer told me early this year and of course as soon as I post it I find out Honda Canada IS bring them in and is asking you to put money down now if you want one. Sound like they will be short on supply......or maybe it's just a marketing ploy. Anyway, never mind!

The "Drive thru Window" At Skydoc_17's House Is Now Open!
The Tooch replied to skydoc_17's topic in Watering Hole
Little off topic here......but it would be your nickel's worth, cause 3.2 cents would get rounded up to 5 cents. As that 1.6 cent penny means there are no more pennies in Canada. Back on topic......Good luck with this Earl and what everyone else says. -
