  1. Tomorrow after work I'll ride over and get a picture with my bike in front of the Barrie jail it was built in 1840. Here is a picture of just the jail.......I think it should be a good one!
  2. Hey Ron I know you have a 2013 and I remember you talking about the iSimple and iPod.....so I'll just ask by way of a reminder.....have you been un-plugging the iPod, disconnecting from your bike? It will continue to draw from the bike recharging itself if you don't and run down the battery if the bike sits. Just something to consider.
  3. Check out the calendar and sign-up for the VentureIn if your interested. At Marcarl's it seems the 1st gen's Out number the 2nd gen's So your scoot will fit in! I should warn you about Carl's speeches, they do tend to go on...and on........about but he puts on a good spread.
  4. Hey Alex Your going to be right outside Barrie. We'll have to get together for a ride and consider tagging along on May 24th to Marcarl's VentureIn meet & eat. You can actually meet a bunch of the gang here. I did my time at Borden back in 1977/78. I was just a kid 17-18! My son-in-law did a course there last year, it was real nice cause that meant my daughter was real close. He is posted in Edmonton now and my 1st grandson was born out there back in December. Congrats on your 1st step.....just remember "There's no life like it!"
  5. Hope your day was just great Puc! Happy birthday.
  6. Hey Puc I was just thinking, looking at those great pictures you posted.........Everytime you pull over to the side of the road, just for a break or something......Other bikes must stop and see if you need a hand with "Tweeks"......ah, um, appearance...yes that's a nice way of saying it! Her impression of roadworthiness.......must sucker a lot of good samaritans in! To help the poor broken down homeless guy..... She starting to enter the realm of "Rat Rod" which is way Kwel....
  7. Yes best of luck! Bubber. And YOU are just twisted! Flyinfool
  8. Well hate to say it.... congrats!
  9. The Tooch

    Why?

    IT!
  10. Ok so your looking to do this.....this is brewser23 Tour Deluxe he is in Bowmanville maybe he can tell you where he got his rear rack.
  11. Actually in those colours isn't that a tour deluxe???
  12. Don't know if they make one but I would think if they do it would be one that would fit the Royal Star Tour Deluxe. Maybe some of the guys that own them here can chime in.
  13. Have you got a photo of your bike Julie? I'm not sure what your asking and what bike you have? My bike is a 2005 Royal Star Venture, the photo above. Are you asking if you took the rear seat off, you want to put a rack on the fender in front of the trunk?? Or do you have the trunk off as well?
  14. Now Puc you reminded me of something I hadn't thought of in years. Back during the recession of the 80's the powers that be decided to try and save some money on gas by switching our fleet of cars at work over to propane. Well don't know who the 1st guy was to discover this but it wasn't very long before it spread like wild-fire. If you got the cars up to speed, say 55 mph, then bumped her up into neutral, shut the ignition off, let her coast, pumped the gas pedal like crazy and then reach down and turned the ignition back on to re-fire her.........BOOM! It would blow the bottom right out of the cadilitic converter. Well the fleet were new cars and of course they tried to get GM to fix them under warranty but GM blamed the company that did the conversions from gasoline to propane. The propane conversion company couldn't figure it out.......We went back to gasoline cars!
  15. Happy Easter Puc.......Hope the Bunny is good to you. The way you keep come'n home with treasures lately, you'll do OK on the egg-hunt! (I'm still trying to get over the police-bike & you show up with AAF bike!) All the best!
  16. Puc how do stop your bike from doing wheelies?? Packing like that!!
  17. Hey that was me Joe!......at Don's MD last year. The re-useable tie wrap on the right side of the bike, would bind & pull the connectors as you turned the bars. Nightrider1300 - mine is an 2005 as well. Joe repositioned the tie wrap higher up on the bundle of connectors and that way it didn't pull. So far so good I have not had the problem since.
  18. Ok we all kissed and made up..... All this talk about apple kool-aid made me thristy! Who has the Apple-Pie?! (And I still can't post 3 pictures with an iPad but after a couple 1 may look like 3!)
  19. Pepper Spray, Cuffs & baton....start a fight??????!!!! Heck I thought that stuff was for Make'n Love in West Virgina???!! Now that could close a thread!
  20. Welcome, "Money Venture" I kind of liked "Yammer Doug"! I was thinking of doing "Yammer Dave"......or "Venture Capitalist" But everybody has always called me "Tooch" so I went with that. "Yammer Dan" is a one and only.......so NO ONE was ever going to confuse you with HIM!! :rotf::rotf:
  21. This is the other ends after I split the fairing. Funny I guess the ends were in contact with the metal frame of the bike, cause I never lost the driving-lights or a fuse?
  22. Well two ground wires are cut......this picture shows the two wires after I pulled them out from behind the steering column.
