Hey Puc that is a great song and I always liked it and North to Alaska. Did you know that the Battle of New Orleans was the Americans biggest win of the war but was really all for nothing? The battle took place.....Two weeks after the War of 1812 officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Ghent. The news just hadn’t got down to New Orlean yet!

Happy Canada Day! Ben. Going to be a little different this year with all the canceled Events and no major Fireworks. Everything is a little strange this year.......

I was in the same boat after my Cancer treatments and being in remission now. I had some problems with my legs after the Radiation and Chemo treatments, which had me thinking I wasn’t going to be riding again. I started looking at 3 wheels and was leaning towards a Can Am Spyder. But I just felt I wasn’t ready to ride a tricycle yet. I pushed myself really hard in my rehab and got to the point I figured I could handle two wheels again. So I bought a 2010 GoldWing from a friend, I knew the bike really well, I was even there when he bought it. I’ve followed that bike all over North America, I know how he treats it and looks after it, he is very fussy! It has everything I want on it and pretty low mileage at 78,000. Being a friend he gave me a very good price. The colour isn’t one I would normally have chosen but like I said, I’ve been looking at it for a number of years and kind of liked it now. At least no one has an excuse for not seeing me! (For some reason he got it in his head he wanted a BMW?)

I check on the site a couple of times most days. Don’t post much anymore just haven’t got much to say as far as motorcycles go. I sold mine in the spring and I’m now bike-less for the 1st time since I was 14 years old! The big “C” caught me by surprise this spring, so all my time has been spent with hormone therapy, radiation treatments and right now I’m going through Chemo to beat this thing. I did buy myself a Mustang Convertible so I could still get some wind therapy and I do enjoy it but it’s just not the same thing. If it all works out for me I’m really considering a trike next spring. (I’ve lost my hair from the Chemo and could really use a nice cap for a cover!)

Hi Guys Update on the Tooch.....I won’t be able to attend....the Chemo stuff has knocked me on my butt. I’m not nauseous or sick but very tired and I can’t walk around very much without getting the spins and needing to sit or lie down, to make the room stay still. Obviously I can’t be driving and generally I don’t feel well right now. Sorry, I can’t make it, cause I know this would be fun. I’ll do my little rain dance for you! Can’t stand up long enough to do a long one! My Mustang hasn’t turned a wheel in well over a week!
