    I have no idea what to get the ole lady or do for her for Mothers Day. What have or will you do for your honey? She wants a motorcycle but not any close enough for what I would spend.

    Wow, there is a really big bag for the trunk on that site. I wont show it to my wife! If she filled that on put it on my trunk, I would be afraid the trunk would snap!

    using variable instead of constant should get you a smaller file size. I would not think that you would loose enough quality to matter. You can always rip the same song both ways and then take a listen. Oh, firewalker already hit this, oh well.

    So, I will add it here. There used to be a little box where the rating column is now (same place where the paperclip is) for posts showing me what I was subscribed to (posted to). I do not see it anymore and I used to to quickly find posts that I wanted to keep up with. Has this moved to another place or not a part of this upgrade?

    Hey DevilDog, how did this work out for you? I ordered a new sidestand, bolt, nut spring and the metal thingy. Should be here in about 10 days. That sidestand was about $57.

    I polished mine, not a whole lot of upkeep. If you have it down perty darn smooth then just a little aluminum polish maybe twice a year. More if you want to keep it spit polished all the time. You might get some bugs or dings along the way. I have had bugs but no dings that I have seen. Just keep some sandpaper around when you need it. I usually take mine down to about 2500grit. I wondered if chroming will hold heat in. And, if it would hold enough in to make any difference.

    I like Mellow Yellow better than the blue. I have been using it since Don put it there. What is funny, when people see this page up at work, they wonder if I have an issue with my monitor. So, I will keep this theme until it gets pulled. Who all uses this theme?

    I think the 85 is a crossover seat. Driver part is 86+ and the passenger part is prior. I think the passenger part on the 85 and older slope in the front, good if you like yer honey up close at stops. I had mine redone by Rick "Butt" Butler. Been happy so far. He removed the slope on the passenger part, he added the foam for what was needed. He did a few other mods as well.

    Been working on the diaphragms? Did you not tighten one down? I had a similar issue where i forgot to tighten one of the screws. Tightening it fixed it.

    I just wanna ride! I am always tied down with family things. I am sure that will change in the years to come. I got 1 hour in (30 minutes each way) about a month ago. That was just going to work and back.

    If all the above does not work, put the hose down, install exhaust that the outlet is above the trunk and tell the bike no more swimmin' fer you! Oh yea, stay out of puddles higher than the rim!

    Hey Goose, that was an interesting read and kewl on the tags. I have Pirelli Routes on mine (MKI) and they seem fine, at least to me. This is my second set of tires on her and I cannot even remember what the other ones were. I can't remember the ride on them cause I trailered it to a guy to get it running for me (It sat for years), there I got the Routes. If I see ya on the 21st, you will see them.

    I am not seeing any coolant color in that pic. Are you running just straight water? Nice pics HDHTR.

    Ask him if he stunts and what he can do. You can You Tube them to see some of the outrageous stuff they can do. Quite impressive actually. That would help spark a conversation between you two and make it sound like you are hip. NEway, you may not want to freak out at some of the stunting because some of it can get perty wild.

    Shame on ya Brian! Ya go on and git yerself a real bike and then ya want ta put in on a trailer! Just ship yer luggage UPS. Prolly git there before ya. So, ya better git on that bike and drive it to Morro Bay. Then you can do what FutureVentures did, post along the trip.
