    Spotted a controller yesterday that was brownish and not white. Got my eye on it. My current console lettering/numbering/lines are white and the one I got from Poledar is brownish. My old radio/cassette/controller was white, replacement was brownish. It would interesting to hear what others have. I know, I know you have em all, lol.

    I think the coloring of the lettering on the controllers, radio components and console gauges changes colors after '85. 83-85 are white and 86 and later are brownish. At least this is what I am noticing as I am looking. I replace the radio pieces from an '86 and they are brown. I have a later console now and the lettering is brown and see the the controllers are brown too. Correct me if I am wrong but this is what I have been noticing. Personally, I like the brown lettering better than the white, it goes with my color better. Oh where the '85 trunks are the same as '86 and later, the 85 is removable and is kind of bouncy even with new rubber where I believe the '86 and later are solid, not removable with just the key. Btw, has a list been put together yet?

    I have not had that issue because I always used one computer and one account. I would check the apple forums as I am sure tons of people have and are in the same boat. There is a feature for transferring purchases but do not know anything about it. You may end up losing the music that way though if they are iTunes store purchases. You really need to use one computer and one account to eliminate this issue from now on. A work around would be to burn them as a CD (creating a CD format disk (CDA) - 10 -14 songs) and bring them to the other computer and then importing them. When you do this, you will need to add the song and group name back to the music. Make sure to add the same info exactly from the original (song number in stuff) to get the album art back. The CD is not wasted, leave it your car to use - if you have a cd player in it.

    Hey Y'all, If I picked up a '86 or later right handlebar control, do you think it will plug in with the Venture Cruise console ('86+) on my '85? I have been looking for controls on both sides that have some good lettering on them. I cleaned mine all off, lol.

    They still have them. Replaced mine recently. Note that the things where the five pin connection slides into, the ones from them do not stick well at all. Keep using at least the one on your faux tank cover if it is still there. Also, when you plug them into the tuner, both of them need to be in for them to be snug. They do not plug is the same as the originals. You will see when you get in there. They will do the job you are asking them to do.

    I would be happy if the dealer would pay mine off and take it away from me. I replace the oil pressure sending using cause oil comes through the middle and it does it again shortly after. Antifreeze comes through the drivers door speaker. I have replaced a plastic piece that the cooling system blew a hole in the size of a quarter. The coolant tank has split once. The headlights flash when I hit the brakes. The engine light came on yesterday. and a myriad of other things too. This car is real junk. I noticed the Wal-mart/AutoZone stickers and the faux exhaust tips along with the price and coud not stop laughing. It will take more than luck.

    After reading what Squeeze said, I had to go check. I just looked at the frame before. Whew, I am 1544 and both the frame and engine are the same. Guess my motor came with the frame, lol.
