They will go on sale from time to time at HF. I am waiting for the sale so I can get mine. I am on their mailing list so I check them every time it drops in my Inbox.

While you are there, replace the spark plug wires. There are usually decently priced wires and NGK plugs (all together) on ebay. Those cables and a PC680 are a dream together.

So. is it $5 to Don's VR.org fund?

Maybe she aint runnin on all four and it is taking her time to warm up so the ones that are firing can keep it going as it is warm. If that made sense, I hope so.

Steppenwolf, you had better take what you said about not being a Venture rider because you actually are one. You are riding "The Venturer"! At least close enough for me. Check the history page at the link below. http://www.venturerider.org/modules/history/index.php You have been set straight as you asked, lol. Welcome to the group. Now step up and git you one! Oh, btw, the Wing was not better.

Doubt it is that easy. If it jumps out of gear in second, you h ave some real work ro do or skip second when shifting. '83 to a limited amount of '85's have this issue. Search the forum for this subject and you will find a lot of posts. Yer perty much looking at pulling the motor ans splitting the case.

That V-Max is nuts, lol. Too much motor for me. That 12A I had was built by Racing Beat in So Cal. The ports were opened up and had bridge ports as well. Many of the parts were their brand. It would pull the front end of the ground in first and second and stretch the suspension fully going into third. They can build some nice machines. When the RX-7 came out, theirs ran so hard, they had to be de-tuned so other people had a chance the ranks they raced in. They outran everyone all the time. Check out their photo gallery - http://racingbeat.com/FRphotos.htm Sorry, I rant about this once in a while but that was a really fun car. Loudest lawnmower you ever heard.

Ran a Holley double pumper on my old Mazda RX-2 with a 12A Rotary with a 10500 rpm redline. That thing was a screamer, miss that old car.

Headset cord
GigaWhiskey replied to kbran's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I wouldn't know anything about that, I do not have a CB. That just goes direct to headsets. -
Now that would be kewl on 1st gen.

Headset cord

yessir! -
Will the helmet manufacturer provide a sticker if requested or purchased? Yanno, so you do not get into that confrontation again? Maybe even an iron-on to stick it to the inside of your helmet. Heck if it were just a sticker you could get, stick it under the padding so it does not get in the way of your paint work.

Headset cord
GigaWhiskey replied to kbran's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I think I have but you would not want them, pins all rusted in such. You might consider Sierra for the cords if it is from the amp/tuner to the faux tank cover. The price is not that bad for both (driver and passenger). I think around $50. Yes, for a 1st gen. They install backwards on the amp/tuner and fit snug only when both are inserted. So far, they work just fine on mine. -
'86 won't act right!
GigaWhiskey replied to hipshot's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
LMAO, it's all good! Yea, Condor, I really should have clarified that, LOL. Then I figured a double clarification was in order by adding CARBS.- 22 replies
