    Well, the Mrs. and I have our eye on one. We are looking at trying to pick it up. So, now I will have a new project. This one will be fun! Might bug someone to help trailer (or put in the bed of a pickup) to bring it to my house. It is drivable but yanno, it is not a 1st gen and I do not quite know the bike personally yet.

    Are these the nuts I have heard about falling off of 2nd gens that will keep falling off if they are not put on with a torque wrench and getting it at the right torque?

    I could see them looking good in the back but not on the handlebars.

    Recaps should be outlawed. There are too many of them laying on the road we could run into. And, they sure don't go back to pick up the pieces. They should be charged with something when they leave that stuff on the road.

    Hey AZ, get your chit straight. Somewhere in there I mentioned something about me NOT being a MAC admin and something about me being a HOME USER! In at leat some post on this forum. So do not include me your form of bashing when I am NOT invovled.

    Glad you do not hate. I am not a MAC admin as you may have been. I shore love it as a user at home. Makes getting on a computer enjoyable again when I get home. I like you as a person.

    Dude. If you ever read this post, heh, gotcha, lol anyway, sorry, we are in your heart now, you will be back and I and all else hope you will be. Personally, I and many other people could care less that you do not ride a Venture. You sound and act like a real likable person. You are at least linked to a "Venturer". Dude, as I have said before, show up with that gorgeous behemoth at a M&E, Venture-in, Rally or whatever, you will be welcomed as the FAMILY and your ride will be accepted and popular. At this point, it is your choice. You MAKE the decision. Hope to see you again in text or in person. YOU will be person losing the most, not to say that we will not lose, the most. Take that chance, you WILL regret it - or be back LOL. I WILL not give you another chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NO METZLERS FOR ME! Neway, back to what I was gonna say. I ran Conti-Twins on my ole '76 Honda SuperSport 400-4 (my first street bike) back when I was 14/15. I ran Mullholland drive and Hwy on those. Drug my knees with that bike. I never dropped that bike around corners or in straight line (won't say I never dropped the bike). It held well and proved itself to be a high mileage tire. I ran Dunlops after that on my XS Eleven, they stuck well but thread life was short in comparison.
